You know, you are totally right. This sites helps, really. There is a thing that I'm now struggling with, that affects all sad things that are happening around me. The worst part are brief moments when I don't even have a power to do something about this. Just sitting, looking at my desktop.
But, whatever, I hope I will solve it eventually. Threads like that, positive people like are helping. People like you makes me want to comeback to this site, and I'm not even saying about GAs, but about that positive vibe. Thank you :)

This is what this is for. And the nice thing is: a lot of people of this community are the nice, helping out types. Good luck on the thing you're struggling with right now and don't let the lethargy take over. Just visit your peers here instead!

I'm in the same boat at the moment. Finding it very difficult to climb out of the pit... But we can do it :)

This kind of collaborations are best, IMO. Same goes with mash-ups (do you remeber good old MTV mashup, when that TV station was actually about music and not teen drama?).
Jazman from my country, Michał Urbaniak once said something like "I belive that music is an universal langauge and dividing it into genres isn't good. Music should be mixed together, different styles and genres should met, that's what music is about." He created an amazing (as I love both genres) project called Urbanator where he mixed jazz with rap. Here is one song to give you idea what I'm talking about. This is also something like a thing I would like to achieve - to make music like that. As I don't really have any musical skills I want to learn to use programs like FL Studio to make mix like that on my own. I even have an idea how to mix Miles Davis with Childish Gambino.
And as for song I have posted above, well you know, it's about how they made it together ;) Honestly, no kidding, I even have a motivational playlist that contains mostly songs form 80s and 90s (I can share if you want :P). I actually have big collection of songs that can motivate me in one way or another but most of them aren't placed in any playlists (yet).

Well, it's still kinda 'work in progress'. All my playlist are on pc or music players, this is the only one I made on youtube, because I wanted to share it with someone.
So, enjoy Kartyls motivational playlist
EDIT: Danger Zone is one of the reasons why I beat Ace Combat Assault Horrizon on the first launch (I literraly started the game to check it and I played it for, I think, 10 hours straight, till end).

Thanks, I'll take a listen now :D
Being reminded you're not alone helps. As well as remembering that being knocked down isn't a sign of failure, and it's the getting up and carrying on afterwards that matters :)

Here's my go-to motivational song:

That;s the thing, it just sometimes feels like it's impossible to do. And then taking your mind of it for a few seconds or encountering a nice little gesture from someone can be all it takes to see the possibilities again...
good luck on getting out!

Yeah, you're entirely right. I'll remind myself to enact those nice gestures and moments of kindness whenever possible, I know how much even the smallest things can help people :)
Thank you and thanks for the thread!

When I watch TV and see all the refugees coming to Europe runnning for their lives everything else looks like first world problems.

Have you developed a stye in your eye? I've always found that a hot teabag helps when I'm having any kind of serious annoyance or pain in my eye. In the case of the stye, the tannic acid in the tea leaves helps to break down the buildup. Plus, the heat and the moisture just helps the eye.

Everyone at some point in their lives feel like that, but we must not stop fighting. And this comes from a person who lives here - http://www.novinite.com/articles/138159/Bulgaria+among+World%27s+10+Unhappiest+Countries. We just have to continue and enjoy the little things in life.

Sometimes it's hard, but you should try to focus on positive however small it is.
You will not regret, the truth is that in Bulgaria nature is very beautiful and above all diverse. There are also quite interesting, from a historical point of view, places to visit.
If you find yourself in Sofia write, we will drink a beer. :)

Let's see... half a year later, I'm still dealing with the fallout of a break-up, over the weekend I caught something nasty, fever and all and I managed to run a flat tyre on my car because for unknown reasons there was a brick lying on the road that I did not see in time since it was dark outside and I was a bit tired.
And that's not all of it, but it's all I'm willing to share at the moment.
Good thing I don't mind sour flavors, as life has ben handing me plenty of lemons recently.
Just fingers crossed that I can make a few others happy on this site, and that that'll send some better karma my way.

Bad things tend to happen all at once. The good thing about that is when that's over there's room for the good things to come in. Hopefully they're coming your way soon!
Break-ups can be nasty. Been there (we all I guess). You will get over it. Of course. But it can take a hell of a time sometimes....

Heartwarming thread :). I really love this community because of it's so pure kindness foundations deep from the beginning. (Also it helps me a little practising my English as till now it was my only occasion to use this language :p.) Unfortunately can't follow it right now as much as I would like to but I'm glad dropped here for a moment :).

Great that there are people like you here on SG. I don't really have people that I feel comfortable expressing my emotions to in real life, so I guess I could share some here.
I've always really been the quiet type that has a couple close friends, but I still am, I guess "friends" with everyone else. Always had my ups and downs, but the ups were pretty short and the downs would last a while. I realized, from a friend mentioning, that I hide my emotions and feelings really well. Well, that's probably how I get through things when I'm weak inside.
Coincidence that this comes up after the first day of school? Perhaps. As I said, there isn't really anyone I'd trust enough in my life to talk to this about, so I kinda like to on the Internet. Thanks for whoever reads this.

Big changes in my life - like a first day at school- also always triggered reflecting upon myself and my position to others. You write you don't really trust anyone to talk about your feelings and indeed: the anonymity of the internet can help in expressing yourself. On the other hand your friend analyzed you spot on in this case, so maybe unintentionally and without the need to use words you do communicate and your friends get you better than you think.

Yeah, he's one of my close friends, but he was also addressing how I judge one of the other guys in my class, not particularly anything else that deep, but I can see it. It's just one of the lower days, so I kinda felt like writing something here.

You may be surprised how many people can read your feelings. There may be people who you haven't even noticed that can read you like a book. Remember, a lot of communication is non-verbal. So, even if you think you may be hiding your feelings well, the way you behave may cause some people to immediately know how you are feeling. They might not ask you or talk to you because they do not want to invade your private space, don't belong to your group of friends or acquaintances or may have their own problems to ponder.
Remember though, everybody hurts

btw, you remind me of myself ;)

So, I'm a member of this community for some time now and interacted with some of you. I noticed that quite a few of us are having bad luck, are sick, or are having problems with loved ones... stuff like that.
Being part of this community helps them. Helps me. Getting cheered up by winning a nice game, see a nice reply on a post you made or just having a conversation or slow chat with someone can just be the thing to get through a day.
So. If you feel like you could use a break, get something of your chest or just get noticed here, feel free to comment. I'll be reading all of them and maybe others too.
And/or enter one of these giveaways. Enter if you feel like you could use a win. Not just for the game, but because it'll help you through the hard times.
