The pass will be removed from store when the operation but u can get a coin for it to show off later on... It would better to just buy it during the sale and sell it on the market later on after some months when some other operation comes out... The price of it will rise up the more you wait

If you're not playing csgo, and/or dont intend to play it anytime in the near future, you can safely ignore buying passes for operations. It grants you access to some new maps in competitive matchmaking, gives you an extra case drop a week for a new case, gives you a display coin, and this one has "missions" where you can get skin drops from doing certains things (usually very common .05 ones).

Its worth buying early if you intend to sell cases, cause you can recoup your money in steambux off the inflated price of the new cases. But you have to be consistently playing if you really want any benefit.
