Are you serious? xD Could you somehow motivate this recommendation?

I grew on first part, it was awesome so its a sentimental journey. If you are not that old, doesnt remember amiga games it is hard to explain. The game itself isnt AAA title but i belive thet mixed feelings about it that ppl were expecting sth else and its not the same as originals. With the proper discount (~90%) this game is decent enough.
If not i change it to bards tale, i have no mouth..., hard reset or dlc's for duke nukem (and heres another question am i serious :D )

Thanks for giveaway. I viewed your wish list and didn't find any Ubisoft's game. Watch dogs, Child of light, Valiant Hearts: The Great War were great.

I'll recommend some stuff you already own and maybe some other stuff. Thomas Was Alone; The Swapper; Terraria; Mirror's Edge; Guacamelee; Dust: An Elysian Tail; Bioshock; Bastion; Gunpoint.

Stuff you don't own: All the Batman Arkham games are fantastic. Sequence is great. Mark of the Ninja is also fun.

Comment has been collapsed.

Bioshock is probably my favorite game ever, but I have played it via non-steam copy ;) I also played Mirror's Edge - it's really nice, but challenging for me. I'm stuck on Guacamelee - it's too hard for my clumsy fingers, but I'm determined to finish it one day (especially because I have whole set of cards, but I promised to craft badges as a reward only after I finished the game).
Thanks for other recommendations though :) I'm looking forward to playing Bastion (I played Transistor and loved it, although I didn't finish it, 'cause my friend unshared her library by accident xD)
Does Sequence require not being tone-deaf? xD 'cause I'm kinda interested in it, but I'm afraid I'd suck at it too much :)

Oh, do you have Zafehouse Diaries (same type of gameplay, from what I understand.) I thought Zafehouse was fantastic! I was fascinated by the game when I started watching this video, which is how I originally got interested in the game: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SRFnr-M1EWc

TRI: Of Friendship and Madness seems to be a beautiful game but have not already tried it.
If you like point'n'click, lumino city is a cute game. (Quite expensive, buy it on sale.)

And... i see you have already type:rider, it's an original and interesting game.

And happy 25th birthday in advance ! o/

Did you also play Lume? I was a little disappointed with it. There was a puzzle that was very farfetched to figure out its logic...

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

I have tried Lume but everytime i re-launched my save disappeared because ccleaner deleted it. So was tired quickly. But i don't exclude try it again one day... in one session.

Lumino City is by far much better than Lume. However, i received it as a gift. Full price is really too expensive, especially because it's short (time to complete = about 8 hours) with almost no replayability. If you can get it for 8$ it's a nice cute game. For 5$ it's a very cool game ! For 20$... argh !

Aaah yeah, thank god I couldn't buy the game when it was discounted. Now I got nine games for the same money. So noice :)

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

that's the biggest problem with cool indie games - I always want to buy them when they're discounted on steam and then again I know it's wiser to wait for the bundle.

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

Mhm, so true. It's really easy to tell wich game will be in a bundle soon. Must admit though that I'm very surprised to find this one in a bundle already. I'd expected it to take longer. But as it also has been cut in price by a third (was 14.99, is now 9.99) it probably didn't sell very well. Bad for the devs, good for our wallets.

I bought borderlands to play co-op with a friend, but she's busy, so I ended up playing alone and tbh it wasn't fun enough for me to play more than one weekend - though I love running over things I'd probably struggle to kill if I got out of the vehicle xD

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

Well, you better wait for your friend to have more time, since it's much more fun in co-op! Actually that was my first co-op and I haven't even remembered much of a story since I've just tried to keep up with my friends and not die too often but that was a hell of a fun! Or you can try the second one - it's kind of solo-friendlier in my opinion. But they debuffed vehicles there, so you'll have to shoot for yourself more :)
