Premised that i'm not expert of community\website and i'm not moderator\admin of sg (and i don't have the skill for be) so i'm just normal gamer\user here.
This said for what i see this website it's run by volunteers people that do it for free , they is not "work" , so reply maybe delayed also some months if they don't have the time to reply.
For my personal experience btw i remember i ask to mod to do the same thing you ask and after some months they fix the problem for me,so my council for you is to be patient and wait +.
i also think is better if you avoid,don't believe and ignore people that contact you here or in steam by say that they can help you (in that case will be a fraud\scam to you) because the only people can help you in this is moderators and they will reply you only in your support ticket or comment
Last but not least i think (but this is just my stupid idea) is not a good idea to try open many discussion for try ask help about this or for try to do psicological pressure on moderators to hurry to reply ticket because maybe this instead of help will make + problem.

Yes i use ticket and "other" category and on title i write "Region" and after some months they reply me this:
"Could you please provide a screenshot of your Steam account details showing your selected country?You could upload it on imgur, then post the link here."
then i do same they say i take screenshot,upload,send link and send to them and after some period they fix,it is happen around 2 years ago.

i didnt even know there is a account region restriction ,i always thought it was using the steam data ,but i guess you can hide that ,never thought about it .
But i guess you can wait,try to contact CG .Become Patreon and maybe get faster response there.dunno

in which country are you right now are there different region restriction?

With the wrong region set, you can accidently enter wrong region giveaway, win it and you simply couldn't activate the key having to ask for a reroll. Imagine how much time of SG support you can waste.

oh yeah i meant more like if youre now living in a country that has a region restriction where you need to be super careful .
but you can check region restriction if set yourself and just join RoW/global key giveaways that should solve the issue for now .

Problem with "other" is that everything is there. And priority is always given to request new winner and delete tickets.
Also it's good idea to use "region" or "change" in ticket title. Plus always add proof from your Steam account details that show your Steam region (wallet balance, email etc. can be all removed. We just need region and avatar / nick in English. Can't google translate a screenshot :P).
At least I generally go to other category, look for those two keywords and send requests to get a screenshot with region confirmation because people never attach it. But it's not explained anywhere that it should be done... Hence this comment. Maybe more people will see it, and it will speed up the process.
And you can blame me for having your ticket in limbo, didn't have time to sit on it for past month.

If you bump it it will just go at the start of queue. And we check them in oldest - newest order. Not really fair to solve tickets because they were bumped, when some people waited longer.
And some tickets are so specific they are left alone, as they sometimes require admin or high-up input or intervention. Like with removing one winner from multi-copy giveaway. We didn't have many active moderators with this privilege for very long time so queue was months long. It requires Manage Winners permission here:
