So, as usual, I got wondering.

What was the last game you beat?
I don't mean actual 100% cleared, just beat.

Two day ago, I FINALLY beat the Ringed City from Dark Souls 3. And since it was with a new character devoted to using one weapon I needed to get from it, I count it as beaten the game as well. Especially since I did an ending I never got before.

So, who's next?

Sorry, no GA at the moment as I have nothing left.

Edit- Thanks to one poster, I should clarify that the game does not have to be on steam. It could be on the PS4, XBone, Switch or other. Even a phone game.

Edit 2- Added in PS5 and Series X games too.

FINALLY beat Dead Cells for the first time.

And, as a topper, I did it without a single death, which is a COMPLETELY unheard of thing for ME to do.

Outer Worlds base game. GREAT game but WAY too short. And I did every side quest I could to, too.

Maybe one day I'll get the DLC's.

Beat Hollow Knight 112%.Great masterpiece made by a small but talented team.
Glad we got some news about the sequel because it was starting to get a bit into "Half Life 3" territory.

In other waters. 100% even if it doesn't have achievements.
Really a good game.

Ghostbusters '09 Remastered.
Shorter than i expected,it's clear that the strenght of the license is the main draw(and also what jacks up the price).Still it's better than nearly everything Ghostbusters related(movies and games)that we have gotten in the past few years.

One of my all time favorite games, shame it didn't get a sequel.

Horizon Zero Dawn Complete.

Wow.. Just... Wow.

That was, quite possible, one of the best games I have played in a LONG time that wasn't done by a small indie dev.

FANTASTIC game and now I can't WAIT for the next one.

Call of Cthullu
Terrible, you would think at this point cyanide would pay close attention to the details, but they keep cutting all the same corners they did back in the day.
its a very short, very linear story with claustrophobic locations that zoom past in quick chapter progression.
There is 0 atmosphere and similar care when it comes to recycling models and animations
It's funny, because despite reviews the previous call of cthulhu published by Bethesda had a better setting and room for exploration, up until it turned into an fps

Thanks for the offer! But I prefer to finish solo. Actually I regret that I did first bosses with NPC help. You don't taste the greatness of a boss fight when there is someone else who can make him/her busy for you.

No worries. But I have a SL200+ that could help in higher difficulties.

Good luck, though.

Thanks :) Just beat the final boss (tho it was a bit disappointing honestly)

Won't go for NG+, but I am going to play 2 DLC.

The story was very interesting overall, at least lore discussions :D

XCOM®: Chimera Squad... but I will probably get back to it for 100% (needs 3 runs).

Decided to go back and complete the remaining achievements for Tokyo Dark. Also completed the entire Season 23 journey, solo, in Diablo 3 (a first for me because I've never been that motivated). At the moment, I'm not sure what game or game genre that strikes my fancy next. 🤔

I finished Beyond Eyes. It had been on my wishlist for a long time, so I had to give it a try. The visuals are so beautiful. I love the colors. But it can get a bit tedious, especially in the rain part. The story is nice and the ending is sad, yet so beautiful. It is a walking simulator, and you discover the world as you progress, but keep in mind that Rae's walking is a bit slow (as it should be, given the theme).

I just beat: The MISSING: J.J. Macfield and the Island of Memories

A game I won on SG!

It's very good. A little weird at times, and definitely might "trigger" people as it deals with some... stuff.

I should say, I didn't especially enjoy the trial and error puzzles (place things in a certain order, for example), but in general it flowed nicely.

Republique.
Nice story and setting, good voice acting with some notable names(Jennifer Hale,Matt Mercer)
Solid gameplay, just a bit repetitive.Sadly the noticeable difficulty spike in the last 2 chapters and the lack of some QoL features drag down the experience from nice to mediocre, even tedious at points.

We need a "The last game that beat us" topic, with too hard games.

Dragon Age Inquisition
a horrible experience from start to finish, but I really wanted to know how it ends. Only thing that made it bearable was the party banter. Hard to believe this won GOTY

I bought Resident Evil 7 about two or three months ago, if I remember right. Didn't have intention to play it at the moment I bought it, just wanted to buy it in discount and maybe play it later. Totally forgot about the game until a few days prior to Resident Evil Village launch day. Due to the people's hype for Village, I decided to give RE 7 a go.
Wow... What I've been missing all this time... It instantly became one of my favorite games of the RE franchise so far. Aside from Ethan (Now I understand why people hate him so much), I absolutely loved everything about that game. I finished the game on a weekend, and after that, beated Not a Hero and End of Zoe DLCs. Got all the achivements from the main game and those two DLCs. Trying to beat Banned Footage Vol. 1 and Vol.2 this week to get all the achivements left, so I can make some room for Biomutant next week.
