So, as usual, I got wondering.

What was the last game you beat?
I don't mean actual 100% cleared, just beat.

Two day ago, I FINALLY beat the Ringed City from Dark Souls 3. And since it was with a new character devoted to using one weapon I needed to get from it, I count it as beaten the game as well. Especially since I did an ending I never got before.

So, who's next?

Sorry, no GA at the moment as I have nothing left.

Edit- Thanks to one poster, I should clarify that the game does not have to be on steam. It could be on the PS4, XBone, Switch or other. Even a phone game.

Edit 2- Added in PS5 and Series X games too.

Still Life 2.
Damn that was a disappointing sequel. The first Still Life has its flaws but it compensates them with just how well done the setting is and the clever way the plot flows, an actually good game as far as I'm concerned, but then its sequel is just a proper mess that tries to do something interesting but fails to do so repeatedly. And the way they wrap the dangling plot thread/sequel hook from the first part is just even more disappointing.
It's been some time since a game tired me so much that I had to take a two weeks break from gaming just to have the energy to come back and finish it.

Teslagrad 2 and before that Teslagrad (on GOG)

Part 2 is an improvement over 1 in some ways, most notably the map structure and the quick traversal options, but in many ways it shares the same DNA and some of the same flaws as the 10-year-old original, the biggest of which are the boring and cheap boss fights. I had a good time overall. 1 is more focused on puzzles based on magnetic polarity. 2 is more action and movement based.

Darksiders 3. Just now.
The only one I really wanted to play. THAT was one HELL (no pun intended) on a ride. Despite some areas that pissed me off to no ends, I loved it all!

You didn't play Darksiders 1 or 2 then? I haven't played through the 2nd one yet, but the first was fun.

I believe I'm at endgame of the first. I'll go back sometime and beat it. I should do 2 as well since I liked what I played long ago but I'm into Code Vein right now.

A Jugglers Tale.
Wow, this game was great. A little TOO short but still great. If you like these kinds of puzzle platformers then A Jugglers Tale is for you.

Time Loader. And ehh, kind of divided in my recommendation at the moment.

Decent puzzle platformer with somewhat interesting time travel story, but damn do the controls feel unresponsive at times. And then there are a few places where you can softlock yourself, because you some of the objects in-game get stuck in certain regions and you must restart from checkpoint. It's still a pretty short game so it might not be as annoying for others as it was for me.

So YMMV.

Just finished Pumpkin Jack (SG win). Didn't like it. I don't understand why it's so highly rated.

Combat is very plain, repetitive and button mashy. Levels are linear and copy-paste of the same formula with different coats of paint. Writing is utterly forgettable. Tedious mini-games (A memory matching puzzle in a 3D platformer? Really?)
On the plus side, it's short and pretty.

If you're nostalgic for PS2 era platformers, you might enjoy it a lot more than I did.

Lost Words - Beyond the page

A very nice short game, as someone that still misses her grandma every day, even though she passed in 98, the game hit me hard. And tbh I had tears a couple of times throughout the game.

Yesterday I got the last remaining achievement for Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes: defuse 100 bombs. A fantastic co-op game which surprisingly, flies under the radar of most

Played the 3 games in the Enigmatis series by Artifex Mundi.

Usual HOG fare from specialists of the genre,a nice way to spend a few afternoons.Since these are fairly old games, especially the first one, unfortunately the italian translation is sometimes poor.

I kept that, started it and quite. I know the title should have warned me but I still went in not realizing it was a rhythm game. I HATE rhythm games.

In the settings you can turn on assist mode that will count every shot and move on beat - afterwards it's a shooter with nice movement, great guns and fun music.
It doesn't even locks you out of achievements either, only from toplists. Similarly inclusive as rockers and metalheads tend to be IRL :)

Oh man, I had no idea you could do that. Thanks for the info, just moved the game higher in my want list then.

Ok, maybe I'll try that. I saw it and normally would NEVER use that as I feel it's cheating but in a rhythm game I want to try..... Well I guess I can forgo my principals once.

Total War: WARHAMMER 3 is strategy. And I've never played it.

BG 3 is CPRG. Inspite of a bit disappointing final, it was 200 hrs of pure pleassure for me and my wife inspite of several bugs we saw.
I think BG 3 to be the best CRPG of last 20 yrs. After Fallout 2.

But you will need some builds to have comfort game experiences

Warhammer 40.000: Space Marine Anniversary Edition. I didn't expect much from this game, but I really enjoyed its campaign. I wouldn't mind if there were more campaign related achievements instead of multiplayer ones.

Hell Pie. There are better platformers, but I did enjoy it.

I got one achievement left, but I don't think I can be bothered to mindlessly farm for hours just for that.

Jazzpunk, a few days ago I got the last few achievements.
It's one of those games where the title makes little sense at first and by the time you finish it it makes perfect sense as no other tittle would fit better.

On Steam, I beat Lust From Beyond M Edition a couple of weeks ago. Not the best game I've ever played, but far from the worst. Decent gameplay and a surprisingly serviceable story, so I'll probably replay it at some point, to collect the achievements I missed and get the other ending. I really liked the concept of using Essence in the other world to reconstruct bridges, but I wish the mechanic would have been used a little more, and for a wider range of tasks. Maybe they can implement that in a future game, if the devs make one.

I also beat the Jill of the Jungle trilogy last night, although that doesn't really count since I've played through that game about 100 times since it came out. But it's been sitting in my Epic library since it was free earlier this year, and it was actually able to run on my ancient laptop. I'm a few minutes short of the final achievement (Play Jill for 5+ hours), so I think I'll let it idle at the menu screen while I cook dinner tonight. Otherwise, that one missing achievement will bother me. Jill was the first platformer I ever played, and one of the only ones I actually enjoyed. Plus, it was the first video game that my dad ever bought just for me, instead of to be shared with my brothers, so it's kind of special to me.
