So, as usual, I got wondering.

What was the last game you beat?
I don't mean actual 100% cleared, just beat.

Two day ago, I FINALLY beat the Ringed City from Dark Souls 3. And since it was with a new character devoted to using one weapon I needed to get from it, I count it as beaten the game as well. Especially since I did an ending I never got before.

So, who's next?

Sorry, no GA at the moment as I have nothing left.

Edit- Thanks to one poster, I should clarify that the game does not have to be on steam. It could be on the PS4, XBone, Switch. Switch 2 (getting ahead of myself there) or other. Even a phone game.

Edit 2- Added in PS5 and Series X games too.

Yeah, I REALLY need to go back and finish the Final Chapter myself. Been putting that off for the past 3 years.

Guess I grew attached to Clem over the years and didn't want to see her journeys come to an end.

Now to try the other two again.

Marvel's Midnight Suns. I enjoyed it. Lots of funny moments. Top notch turn based card battles. Very much a Marvel story with Marvel style dialogue.

In my case, the last game I won was Guacamelee Super turbo championship Edition. And it was difficult because I had him without playing (at the final level) for a year and a half.

Minerva's Den might be my favorite expansion of all time.

Glad you loved Bioshock so much. Helluva series. 😎

Bioshock 2 Remastered.

Why, why, WHY did I let this masterpiece of a trilogy just sit there?

Sad ending but still worth it. Shame we will never see a fourth Bioshock game.

And before anyone asks, I will do Minerva's Den but not right away. Need to go to something else now.

Just 100% Nilhumbra a few hours ago. Decent platformer even if the new game+ mode equivalent feels quite, no incredibly, sadistic.

Bunker Punks, courtesy of achilles335!

Really enjoyable gameplay, but the roguelite elements don't add too much variety. Probably would be better with properly designed levels and more enemy/buff/weapon variety/

Call of Juarez (2007).

It's still a good game. It has some little quirks, gameplay-wise, but nothing that can't be solved by a quick look at the steam discussions/guides and pcgamingwiki.com. This game from 2007 ran flawlessly out of the box on my laptop with Ryzen and integrated Radeon! Now I started Call of Juarez 2. Argh, why the console FOV cancer (unlike the predecessor)...

Return of the Obra Dinn

A very unique deduction game that meshes gameplay and narrative perfectly. You play as an insurance investigator trying to determine the fates of the 60 passengers / crew members who were aboard the Obra Dinn. You do so with the help of a magical pocket watch that teleports you into memories associated with each dead body you find. You're trying to put names to faces and figure out each person's fate based on observations alone. Your magical notebook tells you when you've made a set of 3 correct deductions.

The game will melt your brain and make you feel extremely smart, dumb or both. Not for everyone but I had a blast!

And just before that: an oldie but goodie...
Hyper Light Drifter (on Epic)

Fantastic style and music. There are secrets hidden everywhere and the world is fun to explore. Combat felt satisfying with good enemy/boss variety but is somewhat basic and not very challenging. Feels a bit underdeveloped on the gameplay side but definitely worth it just for the aesthetics and exploration if that's your jam.

For 3.67$ (base game and DLC) yes it's worth it. It has it has flaws but is overall a fun game for Soulsborne fans. The DLC is kinda meh, it's for hardcore players due to very limited forms of healing.

You may have it on Epic it was free at some point.
