Just felt a pang of satisfaction looking at my game library. Any one else?

Now that I do have a lot on there thanks to all the ridiculous sales, yeah, I kinda do.Especially since I know I paid a fraction of what the average sucker pays to have all of those games. ;D

The opposite, actually - so much wasted money, buying games more because they're $2.50 or less than because they're good. I can say there's at least 100 games in my library that I'll force myself to play more than a few minutes.

Thankfully, I've basically stopped buying games. But that's also because the few games I'd want now probably won't be $5 or less anytime soon.

There are quite a few games I'd like to play on my account but probably never will. They're good games, all. Some I bought for $5 and they've been discounted to $2.50 or less since. :) Still, good deals. :)

So I stopped buying games for myself. Now buying to give away instead. (Exaggeration a bit, but so far this year I paid more for gifting than for my own games.)

There is a thing called self control that is a great thing to use when it comes to wacky things like Steam deals.

You gotta be 13 to the point of spending your money like that.

It hurts to see how much money i've spent on games, i could've just spend all that money on a new pc and get the games later...

I feel like I have to collect all the games in the world!

Yes, but only because my games are trapped on my steam account, and being banned means I lose access to them.

That I think is he best part, because otherwise everybody would cheat. All they would have to do is make a new account everytime they get banned. I hate cheaters, so it makes me happy when I see someone lose like 200 games (well, the games that have secured servers) just because they were cheating. It just warms my heart a little bit.

Oh, I'm aware that it has this effect, and I don't really mind. I, too, think it's great that it keeps some people who would otherwise cheat from cheating. It's more than enough to keep me in line (not that I would cheat like you say- cheating is my thing).

Of course, this doesn't stop cheaters from appearing anyway.

I think I now have an emotional attachment to your Steam account, too.

Now the question is, how many did you play of those?

About half, actually... and finished about 50? I'm slowly getting there, but my achievement obsession slows me down a great deal.

I would like my steam games account but I'm not gay.

PS! to clarify my steam account is gay

I wouldn't call it an amotional attachment. It's more of a financial attachment, in that I can't stand the thought of somehow losing my account with almost €3000 worth of games on it.

I don't have an emotional attachment, but I would be angry if my account got jacked or something.

Perfectly natural to feel emotionally invested in things in which you are financially invested.

I do feel nostalgia when I see The Orange Box's case lying on my desk, makes me think about all the good moments I had in TF2, Portal and Valve games in general.
