is Terraria a great game?

I enjoyed it until I beat the normal mode and encountered hardmode bosses. Hardmode seemed like what it really is, something that was put on top of the original game that wasn't meant to be in the game. The (hardmode) boss fights are tedious and annoying, they have so much hp you have to build a boss arena or play coop to defeat them. And what for? Armor and weapons that have no purpose once you have defeated all hardmode bosses. Still a good game though if you don't mind that it's on the intellectual level of Diablo (click, click, click, click, click, click, click, click, click, click, click oh, I found something, click, click, click...).

It's a good game if you like dungeon crawling, fast paced action, and building. I guess. Also, the new update is coming out this month so I would say get it NOW.

I played it for like 6 hours and I got so bored...

IMO Terraria is not a got game, for me it's exactly like a 2D Minecraft - Why play in 2 dimensions when you can express your imagination in 3?

Great game to play with friends.

If you like platformers - this is HEAVEN. Sandbox platformer("2D Minecraft" - don't think so, there's a lot of fights and exploring, less building[but u can build sth nice - check my screenshot, my beautiful house guardian Iron Man :D]). Find someone to play with and you both should buy this. More=better.

if you can play with friends its about 3 billion times more fun than solo.

I bought two copies for me and a buddy and we didn't even managed to play together because the game is messed up.. but in anyway I think we'd have been bored so fast

I bought it and got bored of it in 2 days.

Not really, it was a pain in the ass for me to understand how the game works, didn't know how to craft more things and stuff like that. Now i'm waiting for Starbound (Won it here :D) and i hope it will be a better game

When you start it looks like a boring mining game. The only thing you do is mine, mine, and then mine again with a crappy pickaxe. But the moment you start mining silver or gold, that you get to fight the Eye of Cthulhu and so on, it's a whole new game. I also though it was a really boring game at first, but I gave it a chance and it's turn out to be one of my favourite games.
