I have never used a coupon--the ones I had seem to have expired. I only remember receiving 2-3. This sounds like too much work for a coupon. All games eventually go on sale for 75% off (seemingly even within a year of release). This is a bit of an exaggeration. Maybe that $60 AAA game is a bit slow to hit the sale. Maybe there is some developer who (rightly prices their game in the first place and slowly brings down the price anyway) refuses to put on sale. Nevertheless...eventually 75% off

The only way to get specific coupons is when they drop coupons because you have a specific game, so they drop a coupon for a game of the same company. Example: I got a 66% discount for Van Helsing III, probably because I had the first Van Helsing.

I am not talking about crafting badges and leveling up kind of farming. More like activating the game i need a coupon of .. in a few steam accounts and waiting to get lucky ( or not ). Is there a non random way to get a specific Steam coupon. As far as i know Steam drops coupons in a random principle concerning only the games activated in Library. Am i right ?
