Fez won't launch

Guys, I bought the humble indie bundle just for Fez, and it won't even launch on Windows 8. Anybody has the same problem? I tried changing the resolution like they wrote on the steam forums!

What are your computer specs? I know that Fez won't launch on some laptops with integrated graphics.

I have a desktop computer, an Ati Radeon 4600 series HD can't remember the exact model, and a 2.6ghz Intel Processor!

well I don't know what the problem would be, but you could try asking at https://getsatisfaction.com/polytron , or seeing if anyone else has had a similar problem. good luck!

run it in compatability mode for windows 7. Fez doesn't run on windows 8

I think that this is the most useful advice, it runs just fine on my windows 7 and I also go the humble bundle.

Fez runs on Windows 8 for me, so OS isn't a major problem.

(Oh and to top it off, I'm using Intel integrated graphics. :3)

"Have you tried these...

A PC restart

Checked all drivers are up to date

Changed screen resolution to 1280 x 720

Changed FEZ's settings.txt file to launch in 1280 x 720

(The default location for the FEZ Settings file should be in this directory (At least on Windows 7): C:UsersYOUR USERNAME HEREAppDataRoamingFEZ)

Checked 'Steam' cache integrity

Reinstalled

Manually reinstalled secondary launchers ('DirectX', 'DotNet', 'OpenAL', 'vcredist')

Ran as Administrator

Ran in compatibility mode (7, Vista, XP)

Forced to launch in a window

Edited 'Steam' Launch Options to include the line '-singlethreaded' or '-st' " "

Also try to update your graphics drivers.

Did you tried the Humble Bundle version, which you can download from your list on the Humble Bundle site?
