Grand Theft Auto: San andreas multiplayer problem.

you can try google but idk lol i dont have the game. I'm sure somebody will be more of a help than me.

u must to locate ur gta sa folder, its in steam folder

Idk why either, I can't install any GTA SA mods with the steam version of GTA SA

• Version 2.0 of the DVD version can be downgraded to 1.0 using a third-party patch.

• The Steam and Direct2Drive versions of GTA:SA are not currently supported and cannot be downgraded.

You can get SAMP for the steam version of the game.

If it's the steam version of GTA San Andreas and if you are talking about SA:MP mod then it is abit more complicated but this might work http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1336083

If you have the Steam version of GTA:SA, you won't be able to play the multiplayer version unless you find on the internet an .exe file which is nodvd version and v1.0 . If the multiplayer you tried and want to play is SA:MP(San Andreas Multiplayer)
But if it's the MTA (Multi Theft Auto), then it will work. Just you need to install it correctly.

You need a 1.01 version or so to run Multiplayer or mods, and the version Steam gives is 3.0, and D2D version is 2.0. You have to downgrade your version to 1.01 in order to run MP or mods. The person above me, Carnivorous, has sent you a link that I just made clicky.
