Something to test the grey matter but not too much...[HINTS]

Ok folks, this one shouldn't be too hard (or too easy), but there won't be a nice guide like my last one, this one will need you to venture forth into unknown lands in search of the giveaway treasure.
As always, this guide may give you one or two pointers if you get stuck.
And there's nothing truly hidden this time. The only catch is, for Part One, you may actually, gasp, need to use, wait for it, pen and paper, swoon, to write your answers down. Or Notepad, is probably what I'd do.

The puzzle giveaway is only Level 1, prize is Metro Redux Bundle.
And a Level 2 consolation giveaway for anyone who can't solve it.

Hint 1 (applies to whole puzzle): My reply to TreeB's first comment.
Hint 2 (for Part Two): Q10 could itself very well be solved even without knowing ALL the correct answers above.
Hint 3 (final straight): Never a good idea to ignore polls in threads...
