If you like to play solo, OMD 1 is MUCH more fun.

If you have a co-op partner, get OMD 2.

Both are fun however, so I'd recommend getting the one that suits your playstyle the most.

I always preferred Dugeon Defenders Above OMD, but co-op was one of the things that made me to chose it over OMD, didn't play OMD2 and I don't know how the co-op will be, but something tells me that it will not have the same re-playability and freedom that DD has, still, I may be wrong, and it is also much cheaper, so you choose in the end.

Myself got DD from the HIB 7 and I think I will have enough TD with it, but may also give OMD2 a chance sometime in the future ^^.

OMD2 is great and if you have a buddy, the co-op adds a lot to the game

OMD2 is awesome, and I recommend checking out the official forums for it too, they've got a lot of good tips for high scoring :)
