Um, I don't know how the BBCode for the forums works sometimes so I hope this works okay!
These are my little plants... I try to take good care of them. They make me happy, keep me company during lockdown. I put them in the sun during the day, don't worry! Then I bring them back inside at night. I keep track of when I water them too...
They help me with keeping a routine and taking care of something small, until I can take good care of myself all alone. I shortened their names... Hawie, Mammi and Ceri...

Ah I edited after BBCode didn't work and found tha formatting thing so I can't take credit for using it correctly the first try ehe.
And I tried the extension and it seems really nifty and useful but, some things were confusing to me and I couldn't figure out how to put some options the way I liked so I took it off again. I'm a little lazy oof.

Love your plants!!! I also like cacti since they're more easy to take care of, and the place where I live is very hot so it's perfect for them. I rarely take care of myself so I know what you mean, I consider that taking care of a tiny plant makes things better

Thank you so much! Seri and Mammi are cacti but Hawie is a sucullent I have to keep a closer eye on it and keep track of when I water it too. I joined a plant lovers discord and they helped me a lot, I took notes on anything they might need~ I live around the Mediterranean area and my room is sadly windowless so I have to remember to put them out for sunshine and pull them back in because of the cold winds.
I think plants are a good way to get people to take better care of themselves! It's a good baby step and not as hard as a pet. It's okay to take your time, specially now with the pandemic. Slow and steady and if you fall back down don't rush, just get back up again when you can!

They are! But they need more care than cacti so I think I'll stick to just this one for now.
There used to be a hugeeee aloe in my parents' yard but my mom doesn't know what's good to have and what's not... So far she's completely killed 3 rosemary bushes a pomegranate tree and that aloe. I feel bad for not trying to put some aloe in vases and see if any stuck so I could have kept it.

Ahh that's unfortunate, my mom also has aloe in her backyard, mostly because of all the properties aloe has, but since we live in a semi-desert zone they don't need that much care, other than keeping them away from the cold (if any) or they will wither, and water them once in a long while. You can have aloe in pots but they reproduce somewhat fast so you'll have to take out the small aloes and put then in another pot and the cycle repeats :>

I've noticed a rising amount of negative posts and threads lately on SG. From sad and gloomy topics to rants and angry posts, it just makes me feel slightly depressed.
