Assassin's Creed III ~ FREE Tomahawks for everyone!

Or at least, if you want to trust Kotaku.

Well, this is interesting. A Best Buy worker just emailed us two images snapped from their employee news section. One shows that Ubisoft will be unveiling Assassin's Creed III on March 5, and that there'll be pre-order bonuses to be had. Whatever.

Update_

The big picture from Kotaku (with a possibly shopped Ubisoft logo in the lower-right corner) was actually the "limited edition" cover for April's GameInformer issue (Front - Full cover) "crafted by acclaimed comic artist Alex Ross" for "a small number of random subscribers".

Ubisoft has been milking everything. Always.

(Maybe there were times it wasn't true, but I don't really remember them. Even Prince Of Persia, but it was not so bad. Can't say it about everything else made by them)

"Unveiling", not "Releasing". It's never too soon to build up the hype.

They have multiple teams working on these games, this one will have been a full three-year project. It's coming in October.

I'll said what I said somewhere else: that cover is most likely fake. Ubisoft just inveiled some newer ones on their FB page, first. Then, the leather belt around the torso (sorry, don't know the name of that) looks shopped on. Lastly, you'd normally have a WIP watermark someewhere, the Ubi logo, and/or the PEGI watermark.

Oh Assassin's Creed... the games look so interesting and beautiful, if only the gameplay was as interesting and engaging as the settings.

Atleast cod is a once a year release. Would be the first franchise Ive heard of that releases two games in the same series within a few mounts of each other.
