I mean, really? I played on the second hardest difficulty level for almost two hours and I just felt sorry for how dumb and easy the AI was, and I suck in FPS games (well, in games in general but that's other issue). One of the very first things in game was me getting on the top of tower and AI just standed next to it not knowing what to do. On the ground they weren't very hard to kill either, the only thing that was troubling was AI shooting through walls and tents, that drove me off from the game because it was utterly stupid. And I've got sure I'm playing on second hardest difficulty restarting the game after first 10-15 minutes - it was absolutely the same experience like just minutes before.

I've heard things get ugly with rocket launcher monsters but come on, it's monsters with rocket launchers, it doesn't sound hard in the hard way (AI that smart), it sounds hard in absurd way (rocket launchers, shitload of HP).

Anyway, buying FC 1 and 2 was one of my worst Steam purchases.

This, all the way. And besides hard it was also quite frightening for the time.

I've mostly played in Co-op, but it's really easy to die. Of course, I never buy any Endurance, so that might be it.

Halo 1 on Legendary was pretty fun. Sometimes you had 5 minutes hide and seek duels with golden elites.

yeah, and Halo 2 was hard too.. in special the part with the flying elites.. they are god damn hard..
i heard that Halo Reach is impossible.. heh

the library was the hardest level I've played, I beat it, but the wall are all the same, the stupid 313 robot always taking hours opening doors while I take waves over waves of zom...er. I mean Flood.

I played that on Hardcore on the first time and i must say it's super duper easy , but yes the mutants do move very fast x) though you have the whole "comrade Rangers" on your side to get rid of those.

SPECIALLY THE PART WHERE YOU HAVE TO AIM MISSILES FROM THE AIR THAT BLOW IN A RADIUS OF 600000 KM TO UNSUSPECTING TARGETS, REALLY PRO.

The thread was focused on really hard FPS games, which are made like that for anyone that plays 'em :)

I hate when i'm the one who start shooting at a player and then he manage to kill me!
To enjoy in multiplayer you need to be good - thats why i stopped playing multiplayer.
