Dogs love this mysterious white stuff that turns into water when they eat it. I however got my workout in.

I can't wait for this mysterious white stuff to disappear... it doesn't belong in Texas, especially on the roads

It shouldn't last long, if you watch the weather they are talking about this polar vortex.

I looked outside, the sky isn't talking about anything yet, back to being wrapped un in a blanket.

I've not seen snow like this in this region since I was a small child. It's quite rare this far south.

I've seen snow in the region where I live back in 2019. That lasted for 2-3 days then it melted. I do like to see this. To hear the crunch of the snow. Oh what a nice feeling. I miss it since I was a kid and living back home. Enjoy it while it lasts!

I've heard about this snow thing, from what I understand it's kinda like the cold white stuff that forms on the inner side of the walls of a freezer but it's outside the house and they say that it falls from the sky like rain. Weird.

I am sure it is an urban legend, just like yetis and eskimos.

Those're chickens. I hope you haven't been feeding them dog food.

Did you know chickens love dog food? It's a better source of protein than grains and such. Most people forget chickens are omnivores and will prefer meat over plant matter. In fact if a chicken dies the other chickens will gladly become cannibals. Very few birds, or very few animals at all are true vegans. However the ones that are can become quite sick if fed animal protein. Sorry just rambling on.

Yep, freaked me out the first time I saw a chicken eat a mouse, swiped it off the neighbours cat and gone in seconds

I mean, chickens are just fat flightless birds, and birds love to steal dog food whenever they get a chance. Some of the most sociable birds even come and ask for it.
There's this family of... actually I have no clue of what they're called in English, these guys, that come every morning to take the few loose bits of kibble left behind and if there's none they'll perch near the front door and start screaming for a bit then leave.

I've got between two and five feet of the stuff in my yard right now (depending on the specific spot in my yard).

Here it rarely snows. But one of the best days in my life was a snowy day. It was snowing since previous evening, and all morning and noon. My best friend and me left early after meal with his siberian husky. Jana had never saw snow before. When we reached to where we wanted, we had a large area with about 1-2 feet of snow. Not much. But Jana had the best day of her life. It was as if she knew she belonged to that white stuff. She jumped, ran around, ate it, ran more, rolled over it, happily received snowballs from us, and she was just so happy. My friend and me also had our fun. I throw him the largest snowball I could make, and made him take a photo of me throwing it. At him. Photo made. Snowball it. Everyone cheered!

I'm up north and I wish we had that much snow. Haven't seen more than a dusting so far this winter.

I love this fluffy white stuff. it makes everything so beautiful and the air is just perfect for deep, bracing lungfuls outside. You get too warm and unzip your jacket an inch.
On occasion you even dig out the snowblower for Real Fun 😍
