If you really want to get into game developing/creating, there is no way around learning to code.

Not sure where you could start at a low level (since I stumpled upon this when I already had some solid basics), but I can only reccomend the "learncodethehardway" series:

all their ressources are for free if you go for the online version.

But maybe somebody else has a better point to start for low skilled beginners.

You missed out on alot of bundles with software, that was practically free.

Question, do you have a solid idea for the game? Story, plot, character's, style, etc?
Cause you should have that figured out first off otherwise you're going to run into a lot of issues
