Hahahaha, Employed, I like that Achievement... though it's better when you enjoy the work.
Should be another that says, "Happily Employed!"

Oh, definitely not smoothly, we had some bumps in the road, but definitely still went well :D

Thanks!
Though, I don't know if South Korea counts as SEA. :)
I think it's more E Asia ;)

Cake!
Yeah, I'll have to think about that.
I don't know if it'll be as interesting as Berlin for people, but I just may indeed set it up. :)

Combination of hard and having brand new food choices.
People say not to do too much all at once, but when you're in a new country, and isolated from your old guilty pleasures....
That part is easy. But there was a lot of control and a lot of exercise added. Now that a year is coming up, I'm aiming to lose another 10kg while it's hot and easier to do so.....
Sweat sweat sweat! Water water water...

O.M.G. I want cake force.
Walk into a restaurant, "This is the cake I'll be having. Make it fresh for me now. No, you won't be charging me..."

It's not easy, it's different enough from English and German to be difficult enough for me.
Still working at it though
Shares similar structures with Japanese though....
So that's a little helpful... now only if I'd ever passed Japanese II T_T

Oops!
So, I totally forgot that my cake day was coming up. No plans for it, so I scrambled to put some bundled stuff together cause I'm at work and don't have time.
Let's see what's happened in the last year.
I moved to South Korea and am happily teaching and volunteering in the local community. I currently reside in Busan and have visited Seoul, Gyeongju and have plans to visit Gwangju and Jeju soon. I'm planning on seeing ANY winter event during the coming Olympics.
I've started to learn Korean. Still not very good yet, but I'm working on it.
I've sadly stopped spending as much time on SG due to Real life taking so much of my time. But hey, Real Life Achievements for the Win, no?
I met my awesome Korean Girlfriend and just recently was invited to her families house to meet them. I was approved. (Kinda Scary)
I am about to finish my first year of my contract and am looking to sign up for another year, but before I start that year, I'm taking a trip to Ha Noi in Vietnam for a week.
I'm applying to a Master's Program that does pre/post work online, but then has several sessions throughout the year of intensive in class time so that it's not an actual online program.
I've lost over 20 kilos/40 pounds.
How was your year?
