I'm currently playing a lot of Dark Souls II.
This series has a problem - it makes other games look bad. Why don't more games are this satisfying to play?

Stuff I love about Dark Souls:
The combat is sooo satisfying
It is so open - you feel like you have so many paths you can take, and so many ways to play it - From caster to melee, from using NPCs and other players on boss fights, the difficulty level is pretty much set by you and how to you want to play it.
It has a huge world to explore, but it doesn't really tell where things are. Many boss fights can be made significantly easier if you explore your surroundings to change the boss room. (this is also a great incentive to play online, so you can read other player's messages)

Gosh I really love that game, making Dark Souls III the only game I plan on buying on release...

(also waiting for a nice sale of the game to buy it on steam)

Here's a ga.

Was just getting into after building a new PC but I'm now in the middle of reinstalling windows/drives due to a corrupt windows install. Luckily I have my OS and software on one drive and all my games on another so when I'm back up to date I hold be able to jump straight in again.

I'm full of reasons to replay Dishonored, not that I need one. Just built a new PC though unlike some games my laptop handled it just fine even when playing at 1080p though my TV. Finished it several times on the 360 but never managed to on PC for various reasons. Plus I need a rerun before 2 releases.

Kingdoms of Amalur for now. It feels refreshing after Skyrim's M1 masher and copy-paste dungeons.

Dark Souls 2 Scholar of the First Sin is still installed to crawl the Brume Tower (Old Iron King DLC) now and then but after getting all achievements on all 3 soul games on Steam, I should be resting them for a while till DS3 comes out.

Right now that would be Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth1. (Although I am getting sidetracked with Terraria due to its recent update that added achievements, that's just a small bump on the road and I'm going back to Neptunia as soon as I'm done. :D )
It's fun, cheerful, colorful and I'm practically immune to most of its flaws (5+ years of RuneScape makes it impossible for any amount of grinding to ever bore you). I knew I'd like it from the get-go. :)

Others that are still fresh in memory are Darkest Dungeon, Recettear: An Item Shop's Tale and Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams (1 per year for the last 3 years ironically).

Lately? Borderlands 2 has been sucking all of my free time. And I don't know if it counts since it's not really a game, but RPG Maker VX Ace.

I just realised AI war:fleet command might be the best strategy game I have ever seen, pity I let it sat on my library for so long.

I think it should be dota 2, because of the mods/maps, oh the good old days of warcraft 3 mods, i used to play them so much. Dunno, why i stopped...
And cs:go too, because of it's skins/betting, making money :D

Crusader Kings II.

Make no mistake about it, the game has some (big) flaws, from weird bugs, to strange AI, to THE FIST OF ONE THOUSAND DLC's.

But goddamn it's good. Even just the base game is so good. There's really never been anything quite like it.
