I'm currently playing a lot of Dark Souls II.
This series has a problem - it makes other games look bad. Why don't more games are this satisfying to play?

Stuff I love about Dark Souls:
The combat is sooo satisfying
It is so open - you feel like you have so many paths you can take, and so many ways to play it - From caster to melee, from using NPCs and other players on boss fights, the difficulty level is pretty much set by you and how to you want to play it.
It has a huge world to explore, but it doesn't really tell where things are. Many boss fights can be made significantly easier if you explore your surroundings to change the boss room. (this is also a great incentive to play online, so you can read other player's messages)

Gosh I really love that game, making Dark Souls III the only game I plan on buying on release...

(also waiting for a nice sale of the game to buy it on steam)

Here's a ga.

I gotta give it up for Depth. That game seems endlessly replayable, despite being somewhat simple it doesn't drag and feel repetitive. Plus, playing as a shark is just so damned fun.

It's on Free Weekend, though, so lots of newbies and I kinda feel bad for (literally) preying on them.

Until last Thursday my favorite game was Apotheon - http://store.steampowered.com/app/208750/ - really nice game.
Now my favorite game will be Lords of Xulima - http://store.steampowered.com/app/296570/ - for the Baldur's Gate and Pillars of Eternity fans.
=)

Right now, my "can't put down" game is Grim Dawn. And I really need to get it under control because my job is starting to suffer from it.

Hyperdimension Neptunia Re:birth1

The dialogues man, they are filled with references to other games. For a gamer, this game is like the best tribute. The whole thing happens in a world called "Gamindustri" for God's sake! The dungeon crawling mechanics are not half bad either. The turn based battle works pretty well, especially since you can take extra moves at the cost of your turn coming up later. Makes you think if it is better to end your attack quickly so you can heal ASAP or go all in but risk letting the opponent get few extra turns in(When you are going through the DLC places, this matters).

And the fanservice. Can't forget about the glorious fanservice.

Lots of Fallout 3: GOTY recently. Just received the Explorer perk and finally realizing how many places there actually are to go, still not sure if I love it better than New Vegas though, but loving it all the same. And ... seriously ... Vault-Tec were dicks.

I don't have this kind of game. I had one but something has changed between us and we don't see each other now. I'm sad now.
