Just as an FYI if you ever buy from GoG that it sometimes works the other way, if you see a game on special the store page sometimes won't acknowledge that you already own an instance of the game, only letting you know once you proceed to checkout. It doesn't happen with Hitman but I've seen it with other Amazon freebies I've got like Morrowind. I don't know if the store would actually let you pay for something you've already got but I'm not game to test it either.
