As a student I was gaming on a laptop.
Now I might go for a mid (like 2k max) gaming pc... but I also want to save money so it's a dilemma :)

Yup, currently finishing my 2nd gaming PC.

I have a custom built gaming PC, but it's also my general PC for home and sometimes for remote work.

It works, but I could upgrade if I had 1000-2000€ to waste...

Not that the better one is too slow for my taste. But other one I use is getting dated...

I suppose my laptop is workable, but it doesn't have any good GPU..

I am about halfway to getting a good gaming pc, so for the moment it's only decent

I have custom made PC's, but they reflect my current lack of gaming. The desktop might have been a mid-range gaming PC many years ago, but hasn't seen any games for about 3 years (and no use for most of that time; the kids have started using it recently, but only for YouTube and web games). It has a Phenom II X6 1090T and had a Radeon 5850, but I gave that to a colleague and it has a Radeon 5750 now.

The HTPC, which gets the most gaming, is weaker than the laptops I have. It has a Phenom II X3 710 and Radeon 5550 DDR3.

I got a quad core with GT 430, can i play Witcher 3 on highest settings? No.
Is it a pc for the games i want to play now and can? Yes.

Because why wouldn't you want to pay a premium for an amazing 18" monitor and a light 15 pound laptop for that ultra-portability? I'm confident a lithium battery can provide the power draw required for 2 1080s to work at full throttle as well! ;3

1060 gaming laptop for travel & 1080 gaming desktop for home use and no I'm not happy because I don't own that $7000 laptop

Yes a gaming PC, but its a 2-3 year old, so a bit outdated now. But you'll never catch up the technology updates speed.

Built mine in March/April 2014.
I change my entire pc every 4/5 years, and during this period i don't upgrade anything.
So next wil be in 2018/2019 (probably in 2019, my actual pc works really fine and i don't need to change nothing)

I only got a decent;y good laptop for my computer science major. So it's good at gaming (not great, but can run pretty much anything) but not a gaming pc </3

I've got a gaming laptop which works fairly well for me.

At one point it qualified as a gaming PC. Now ... not so much, but I built it and it's still my baby.

Yea, last upgraded a year and half ago(i5 4690K, 970 GTX). Its not the best PC in the world, but it works just fine for me. I do also have a very shitty 4 or 5 year old laptop that I use when traveling that makes me sad everytime I use it.

I build mine in 2007, little upgrade in 2008 and still running.) Even OS not reinstalled.
