I finally got my Samsung Gear VR, I'm a very happy girl!

There are so many nice VR games on steam (Annie Amber) but I do not have a Vive or Oculus rift. But I once read there are apps that can make you play it with a gear VR. Can't find it on Google anymore unfortunately. I am a total noob so is there anybody here that can tell me in very simple words how to use my Gear VR to play Steam VR games? Don't leave out the obvious steps please as to me no step is obvious :)

Thanks in advance people.

Thank you for Particula but I got it already so I think someone else can still use it.

Thanks for the suggestion but as far as I can see this does not make use of the gear. Just a card box experience.

Whats the difference? Vr gear just looks more elegant and the idea behind is streaming stuff to you phone, no matter what box you put it in.

I dont think this is possible. If it was, then the Vive and Oculus were kind of useless...

I think it is, but it's nothing compared to the real stuff. A few months ago I had the chance to try a oculus and a gear. The quality of the oculus beats the gear at least 50 times. It also has the ability to follow you instead of only your head. The oculus was to overwhelming for me tbh. And not to mention the oculus is very pricy and I would need a new computer to run it. So the oculus is out of reach but I got the gear for free so I would settle for much lower quality any time.

Also I realise not every oculus game can be played on a gear only the ones that not require to follow your movements. But Annie for example is also available in the gear app store so this one would fit. And ofc it's much more cheaper to aquire steam games in bundles or trades then it is to buy them in the gear app store.
