Im new at the trade things so here it goes...

A dude wants to trade a game GIFT he bought from G2A for a couple of keys, is it safe ?
I hear people are getting G2A's gifts revoked and stuff, Im afraid if I trade with this guy the same thing might happen to me.

Well, even if he does, does he trust whoever sold the gift to the guy? :P

(AFAIK) The buyer can ask a new copy if something happens, so his honesty is pretty important

Honesty or not, I doubt anyone would like to cover for someone else's mistake, since that guy is not responsible for receiving a gift that he traded in good faith.

Seller -> G2A -> Buyer -> Swagalicious01

If Swagalicious01 trades and the game is revoked after a week, Buyer can ask G2A another copy for free (I'm not 100% sure about this, never used G2A, but looks like revoked games are "insured") so no one has to "cover" nothing (except G2A or "Seller").
Anyway "Buyer" could ask another copy and block Swagalicious01.

I've bought 3 games from g2a and everything is ok...but that doesn't mean it's safe. I think it's about luck.

If these "keys" are TF2 or CSGO keys, and you trade them in the window, then if the gift gets revoked steam support should be able to help you.

Same risk is involved in trading with people with 0 rep, they can chargeback and the gift will get revoked. Contact steam support and they should(hopefully) help you out.

If its CD Keys, I wouldn't do it.

They're pretty much the same in terms of being safe. I've bought from both (cd keys), and have had no issues. Although I've only bought games that have been removed from steam, which I feel is safer.

there are allways risk to buy digital stuffs from resellers, so i vote no, iam happy to pay a bit more and be safe so better to buy from steam on sale or buy bundles from reliable sites like indiegala, humblebundle and bundlestars. anyway, steam wallet free anyway if you have half year allways to get 50-75% profits and then you can buy games for that profit:-)

If the price in keys is lower then the asking price here on SG in the trade section when compared then it's probably a chargeback scam, if you found the guy who's offering it on SG just go by his rep low rep is a no go but if he's got a decent amount of rep here (and a steam profile that doesn't look unused) and isn't marked (or under investigation) as a scammer on SR then you should be safe.

If it is a steam store gift and RoW, and you aren't trying to activate a region locked gift using dubious means. I don't see how it is an issue unless he stole it from someone's account. People do get games cheap at times at sites like G2A and trade it for market value. Its not like the guy asking question is buying it off G2A himself. If that trader had not told you his game was bought at G2A and he bought it at Steam Store you wouldn't even have known.What is crucial is if the guy who is seeking a trade is trustworthy is all. Check his trade record and his steamrep.

In my personal experience, the keys i buy from G2A.com always works perfectly, but is a fact that since G2A is not an official reseller, always exist the risk of recived a already used key (i.e), and since you are not going to activated it, you dont have any way to know if that key you bought is a working key. You always can submit a ticket to G2A support, but the time that the ticket taking to reslved is uncertain.
In the case of Giftables, just be sure about the region.
