About time to celebrate some milestones again:

  • Level 9 since beginning of March (stable in the meantime)
  • 3rd Cake Day two weeks ago
  • reaching 1k sent GAs within this celebration (that's the spot for Kingdom Come:Deliverance).

Winners will be checked regarding basic SG rules. All GAs end on Sunday 7 PM CET.

If you want to see, which games you already own, I highly recommend to use Sighery's RaChart Enhancer.
If you want to automatically create fancy tables like these, check out Corran's Tablechart Creator.

Before you shout out: "But that won't be 1k!", there are few WL/group GAs ending at the same time. You know where to find them.

If you're still reading, this is just a personal note (no GAs here :P):

In midth of March I finally freed myself from the space cat addiction here. Though I've played nearly all my won games in the past two years, I decided to not enter anything because of chances and at least somehow solid gameplay anymore. It was nice to find some gems here and there and to try out some genres I hadn't tried before, but I fail at few, some games turn out as broken or uninteresting and former wishlisted games I obtained by bundles, offers or trades yelled at me to get their time. So I only enter for wishlist or newly discovered games now (excluding those I only track by WL regarding licensing etc.).

If you noticed my less recent activity, it's just because I'm working on my backlog in general again: "finished" The Crew DLCs, beaten AC Revelations, AC III, AC Liberation HD and currently working on Black Flag. Also I'm finally up to date with my all-time favourite TV show (X Files, started re-watching last year, since I had missed a few of the old episodes). I'm definitely progressing faster now.
This won't stop me collecting, but not here anymore. This community deserves better.

Congrats, and thank you for the giveaways!

I take a similar approach, only entering for games on my wishlist or ones I'd be excited to play. I have enough of a backlog as it is without collecting SG wins that I wouldn't touch. I've played almost all my wins, but the games I haven't played or haven't beaten haunt me.

I find I go through cycles. I'll make great progress on my backlog, and then I'll run into a new game - like Nier: Automata or F1 2017 - that completely takes over every available gaming hour and then my backlog grows again.

How is X-Files now? I mean, I loved it when I watched it years ago, but does it still hold up as well today?

I hope I won't play a game so soon which doesn't let me go again.. definitely avoid multi-player. :D

I find it difficult to compare the new episodes to the old ones. Season 10 was too short. Now with season 11: the chemistry between Mulder and Scully is still great. The structure is the same: few procedural episodes, many monster of the week ones and 1-2 hilarious episodes per season. I'm not sure where Chris Carter wants to lead us with the procedurals, but a few points in there are weird. Don't know how to describe it without spoiling. The single episodes were better.
Sometimes the show tried frantically to prove that it's modern (IT aspects). Some returning characters are more fan service than appropriate or even logical. And I'm having serious issues to get accustomed to Duchovny's new voice-over artist in German.
But as a fan, I'm glad that they're back and enjoyed most parts.

I mean, it's good in that I love it when a game is so good that I don't want to stop playing. I played Nier Automata until I completed all the major endings, and all the sidequests except for the two that required a lot of grinding. I played Forza Horizon 3 for dozens of hours, and still dip back in for a bit every week or so. And I could easily see myself losing dozens of hours to F1 2017 in going through a whole season in the awesome career mode. It's just not good for all the other games I want to play. Too many games, too little time. ;)

I had forgotten that they restarted the show, I thought you were re-watching the originals. Would you recommend it to someone who enjoyed the originals ages ago? Or am I going to feel lost because I don't remember what happened in the previous seasons?

Yes, I was re-watching the originals, since I didn't watch every episode back in my youth and stopped when Duchovny left. But also because of the restart.
Did you watch the originals until the end? Then reading summaries on Wikia or sth. alike may help. The new episodes also have some flashbacks, but if you missed something in the past I'd recommend watching all again.

I honestly don't know / remember. I watched a lot of them, but I don't think I saw them all.

Good for you! That is probably one of the hardest things to do for a lot of people on this site.

Oh, and congrats on the milestones and level-up. 👍
