Haven't watched The X-Files in quite some time, funny that I just thought about revisiting it the other day and now read about it here :D. Since last week, my PC is weirdly acting up, not working like it should and most likely on the brink of clocking out permanently, so that I need to buy a new one, but I don't wanna commit to such an investment with the ongoing CPU/GPU crises and decided to wait for at least the next generation for a proper upgrade - downside is, of course, that I'm kinda limited to what games I'm able to play right now and thus kinda had to put some of the games I really wanna play on the backburner, though I just hope I find some cheap second hand parts soon maybe, since it becomes really annoying with me for once having some downtime :s... but yeah, since I discovered this site and all the bundles with it, I'm also in that constant and endless fight against our all greatest adversary, the guileful backlog, and it didn't need my pc breaking down to control me before :3!

Unfortunately I bought the old X-Files pack on DVD when it was on sale, should have waited for the Blu-ray version. Had been a blast though. Maybe I should try to get this old game running. Someone should really give Telltale a hint.
Luckily I upgraded to the new PC last year in April, just to take sneak peak at Ryzen and before the whole mining thing happened. Not regetting it. I hope you're having luck on the second hand market.. or Warehouse Deals/eBay discounts etc. Before I made my decision, I was looking for a good setup and offer for 4-5 months.

Well, most Ubsioft games have a similar pattern nowadays..open-world, collectibles and mini games en masse. If you're an achievement hunter/completionist, I wouldn't recommend playing them in a row. I enjoyed all of them, though Liberation HD fell off a bit (pros: interesting setting, first female character, different roles; cons: shorter story, no story arc in present time, only few details on Templars vs. Assassins).

I bought the whole franchise (except origins) on PC to play them all once just because history.
I had them on PS3 which I got all platinum trophies before they stole my console...
Now I'm planing to really enter in this franchise world to fully feel the animus tension.
To be honest, my interest in the franchise kinda died with Ezio. After play the whole Ezio's life, you kinda feel attached. :P
But I really think I still need to explore the after life experience. xD

If you're still reading, this is just a personal note (no GAs here :P):
In midth of March I finally freed myself from the space cat addiction here. Though I've played nearly all my won games in the past two years, I decided to not enter anything because of chances and at least somehow solid gameplay anymore. It was nice to find some gems here and there and to try out some genres I hadn't tried before, but I fail at few, some games turn out as broken or uninteresting and former wishlisted games I obtained by bundles, offers or trades yelled at me to get their time. So I only enter for wishlist or newly discovered games now (excluding those I only track by WL regarding licensing etc.).
If you noticed my less recent activity, it's just because I'm working on my backlog in general again: "finished" The Crew DLCs, beaten AC Revelations, AC III, AC Liberation HD and currently working on Black Flag. Also I'm finally up to date with my all-time favourite TV show (X Files, started re-watching last year, since I had missed a few of the old episodes). I'm definitely progressing faster now.
This won't stop me collecting, but not here anymore. This community deserves better.
