No credit... and now losing credit!

I had gotten up to $60 in contributions for games. I gave away a few extra keys from a bundle I'd bought, but got no credit for contributing anything. Suddenly today, I notice that I'm down to $30! Are they retroactively taking away credit for contributions now?!?!?

Those are all bundle games. I think that your cv will drop even if they become bundle games after you give them away.

CV won't drop for if they were given and received before they got bundled somewhere..

And to OP yes they apply retroactive bundling up to the date the games were actually bundled. I guess you reached 60$ simply because they were not added yet to the list when you gave them away.

CV is always recalculated with the newest base prices of the games and the new bundled games.

Well, I didn't find anything about losing CV in the FAQ, but it looks like giving away bundle keys will get your CV capped. So it will go back up as I give away non-bundle games?

And thanks so much for all of the extremely helpful answers. Great community here.

Basically, yes, give away non-bundle stuff and your bundle CV cap will raise. And considering how many of these types of threads pop up day to day, they're bound to get these sorts of reactions, unfortunately

Alright. Thanks for the help. I thought I was being nice by dropping keys here that I didn't want, but it's apparently frowned upon. I'll take them elsewhere.
