Well, as caio predicted, I'm making a "back from Rome" thread. I've actually been back for several weeks, but I am extremely slow.
I won't give a boring recap of the trip; I will just say two things:
First, there is no food in the world that's better than Roman gelato. There may be some foods as good as gelato in Rome, but there is not -- cannot possibly be -- anything better.
Also, it was really nice to spend a few days on a different continent. Living in the USA, it's easy to think that we're the center of the world. I never believed it, but it was awesome to see firsthand that it's not true. We're all just citizens of the world. Our success or our failure on this planet lies together, not apart. I hope we can figure that out eventually.
Okay, now on to the stuff people really care about: the photos, and the giveaways!
Photos are here. (Unfortunately they are in random order. I do plan to organize them and add descriptions eventually... but don't hold your breath).
Giveaways start here and end on March 19th, Level 1.

Any luck with the instant lottery? XD
Recently, the govt. lowered the winning chance of the "Gratta e Vinci", a lot...
No! I ended up buying 6 and I lost on all of them.
I guess I should blame the government, but I blame caio. :D
welcome to the IRL global community aka The Jet Set and glad to hear 🍦 saved the day for somebody once again! 😁
Welcome back canis^^
Nice pictures you have made there!
Good gelato is always good. Have you won anything in the scratch cards? It's almost like Steamgifts.
Nice pics :)
Looks like you had a blast. I do miss Rome and wish I can go back.
Looks like you had fun
Thanks for giveaways.
Also, I also want to go there D:
Bump and thank you.
These are great pictures. I want to go to Rome, too!
Nice photos, that must have been a nice trip. Thanks for the ride!
fun fact: many people will point you to the best Rome gelateria, and they'll be always different places
Welcome back! :D
Man, your photos are simply amazing, thank you for doing justice to the beauty of my city this way
Thanks, I don't think I've ever had my photos described as amazing before! I love finding good shots and trying to frame them so they're interesting. And Rome certainly has more photo opportunities than anywhere else I've ever been!
Really never heard such comment? I honestly don't understand so much about photography but to me it really looks like you put a great sense of creativity that make appear those things in an interesting perspective, different than how those same things are usually shown in pictures. Even though they still appear as themselves.
Nice pics, and thank you for the GA.
