No, but it would be nice to be able to hide games that you own so they don't show up in your steam library.

Actually, you can. Right click on the game, set category, check the box to hide.
And to find them again, click on 'Games' on the top right of your library list and set it to 'Hidden'

I was talking about a privacy feature so that the games will not show in your library for everyone else to see. When you hide a game like you describe it only removes it from your library that you see inside of the steam client, everyone else can still see it when they view your steam library.

You can sort of blacklist on steam by clicking on the "Not Interested" button. It only makes the game not appear in the featured areas though.

So helpful though. The biggest problem however is the "Steam Discovery update" which has basically turned the store page into a jumbled mess of recommendations and unnecessary clutter.

Everyday I dream of blacklisting games on Steam. By blacklisting it means it won't show up anywhere on Steam store even if it's on sale for $0.01 or my friend activity page forever and ever.
