I understood you and I agree with this, but god dammit you need to improve your explaining skills. I almost felt like reading a riddle or something.

every time i vote in a poll where i haven't chosen the most popular choice, for a second i think steamgifts recorded my vote wrong. the results highlight the most popular choice in addition to sorting it to the top, but my first thought is always that the highlighted one is my vote. i realize there's a green check icon to the right of my choice, so i CAN figure it out, but what i see at first glance is confusing.
since the most popular choice is at the top anyway, it doesn't need to also be highlighted green. instead, the green highlight should show what we chose. of the two things i want to see after voting in a poll, where my choice ranks isn't immediately obvious. if the top choice wasn't highlighted i'd still be able to find it quickly because it's at the top.
