The day after installing the giveaway.su chrome extension i lost my Tremor account, the only one i use with chrome. The TOS include read and rewrite all your internet data. Dont know if was an accident but i eliminated the extension and changed my passwords.
did you have any similar issue using the extension?
what do you think about the read/write TOS?
SCAM site or just a coincidence?

I use the extension but I use chrome almost exclusively for that site and I'm used to not make logins with the extension on. I only turn it on for their giveaways and then turn it off. So far no problems for me.

Oh, my error. i am used to firefox and not chrome, so when i saw the GUI i thought it was from the official store (and there is a link to the google store too, fake i assume)
Edit: well i think its not fake because it leads to a chrome.google.com web

if you try to enter a GA without the extension, you see a two links to the store but if you search in the store by the name is not listed

It's on the store, but it's been set as private by the developers.

Like, say, stealing accounts.

Or extension helps you download videos from YouTube :P

I only turn it on when there is a GA that I'm interested in, plus my anti-virus software are always active

I´ve never had any problems with it, but I also only use Chrome exclusively for that site.

I don't think it's worth risking my stuff for the lousy games they give away.
Gotta ask yourself -- is a +1 to your Steam library really worth the risk?"

I mean, I can't even login on their website anymore because they apparently I can't login, so meh.

I NEVER install extensions to have the right to enter GA's.

It gave in the past a other extension that are well known and had a good reputation. All was fine. And then they sold it, without a info, to a russian csgo skin site. Did you think all your infos are save by such a move ?
They can update anything in AFTER you installed it. And then your accounts can be gone from a Keylogger/Malware or whatever else.
So no extensions are 100% safe and maybe a "what i get", "how good is there reputation/my risk" and a "how they make money with it" is not wrong before installing anything

People will use it even if there is miner, cause they don't care about anything except shitty +1 icon in their steam library

I use this site and the articles written about it scared me. I'm sorry if I did something wrong.
