Congrats on the milestones and thank you for the giveaways (bump)!
Also -- the GF just got charter -- I'm undecided about them so far, but the tech out here was actually pretty cool -- right after he installed it, I ran speedtest.net on my phone and wasn't getting a great connection (but I didn't know what my GF had), and he looked at it and was all -- "that's not right..." -- and stuck around testing it himself until it got the significantly greater speeds that it should have been getting.
(But then the service cut out a few times this weekend....)

bump for solved and Charter stories...
At my last job the office building had no fiberoptic and no cable service. It was next to an interstate highway, in an industrial area, but in a weird corner of land and previous tenants never had a need for internet access. Charter wanted $50,000 to install. AT&T wouldn't even entertain the idea of fiber because it was on the other side of the highway. We ended up getting a slow-ass partial T1 and moving to a new location after the lease ended. :P
On the other hand I have charter internet at my house, 120Mbit download, consistently max speed, never any issues other than modems dying every couple years. But I live in an old, densely populated area and cable service has probably been on at this house for 30 years or so already.
Good luck!

Puzzle Time!
Difficulty: Easy to Advanced Easy nothing too complicated here I swear
Levels: 0-2
Num of GAs: ???
Num of points to enter everything: that would be telling, wouldn't it?
Bundle Status: .... both?
Hints: None yet... nor should there be any required... but that could change
Ends: Jan 31st, 4pm PST (GMT-8)
so it's kind of awesome that i hit level 9 and got 1500 games at nearly the same time... i mean they were both this week
so that's kinda cool, but aside from that i've been having some Dark times trying to get cable internet to my house
first we are serviceable then we are not serviceable, now we are again, i'm really not sure what is going on, but i'm really
really tired of it. all the technicians i've had to deal with have pissed me off, though the sales people are lovely.
the Souls of the technicians, however, can Prepare To be destroyed when i find them... it's been extremely frustrating
and i honestly hope they can figure out their crap. i mean how hard can it be to connect a cable to a house from a drop
point that is less than 500 feet away? does someone have to Die to make it happen? is this stupid technicians funniest
screwball Edition or something?
but enough complaining, honestly i love this place and that's why i make puzzles... to tortu-... er reward people for being
a part of the community. honestly i think this puzzle is pretty easy if you're paying attention. and i did that because i just
wanted an excuse to feed my addiction and well all of you whom have ever pressed received have helped me get here
anyways, so enjoy!
oh and if you can't figure it out for some reason
have a consolation ga
for those of you willing to figure it out, you can easily press the button here to access the puzzle
Solution
Step 1
If you scanned the text below the puzzle description, there were 6 words that were capitalized. They were the only 6 words capitalized in the entire text: Dark Souls Prepare To Die Edition
Step 2:
If you continued to the next GA that was for those of you who couldn't enter Dark Souls, there was spoiler text that was merely a 5 character GA code. If you applied it correctly it would lead you to the next GA like so: http://www.steamgifts.com/giveaway/dDRkV/ <-- Final slash is very important
Step 3:
The Next GA required a little more information, it was a hidden link that you had to view the source of the page to find, if you did, you found the following: http://www.steamgifts.com/giveaway/OIAgG/
Step 4:
This step was a combination of step 2 and 3, you needed to find the hidden text and then construct your own link with the 5 character code like so: flikl --> http://www.steamgifts.com/giveaway/flikl/ <--- Again Final slash is very important
Step 5 (Final Step):
This step used a first letter cipher. There were five sentences and from them if you took the first five characters you could construct a link with them: UYigX ---> http://www.steamgifts.com/giveaway/UYigX/ <--- Again final slash is important
No more Steps, if you made it this far, you had completed the puzzle in entirety.
Thanks for playing...
Note: A lot of these are basic procedures for creating or finding puzzles, because of that, most people complicate them and do things in addition to the previous steps, but these basics are good to have in your toolset for dealing with puzzles.
