The name of the group for which the giveaway is created can be seen on the particular giveaway page but if you are member of many groups who make giveaways then it can be difficult to make sure which giveaway came from which group. One has to go to all the individual giveaways to find out which group the giveaway is from.

I might not want to enter the giveaways from a particular group because of many reasons. One simplest reason is the ratio for some of the groups. So lets say in group "X" I have a good ration so I can enter the games from that group, but in another group "Y" my ratio is not so good at the moment so I can't enter the giveaways. Right now on my Home Page there are about 130 giveaways from multiple groups. So if I have to just week out the giveaways from one group, I still have to open all the giveaways individually and find out which I can enter which I can not.

If the group name was displayed similar to the Giveaway creator name on the front page this problem will not come.

What do you guys think??

Should the group name be displayed on the giveaway like the Giveaway creator's name is shown on the main page

No... Poll creator is crazy and doesn't know what he's talking about

Maube we should also have a search function. That would be so useful to prevent people from making the same threads over and over again.

Ok I agree I did not do a search and made the mistake of creating the new thread.

But you have to learn the meaning of "Over and Over again". You see by saying that you mean that I am making multiple threads for the same thing or many people are making the same thread. But that is not the case here, is it?

Peace Out!!

The "over and over again" part was more of a jab at the fact that we keep seeing the same threads popping all the time, not specifically yours. ;)

How would it work if it's for more than 1 group though? Some of them have over 10 allowed to enter.

The same way it works on the giveaway page itself maybe?

Oh, you mean using the green group label? Yeah, I guess that would work, though it may end up shifting the formatting in a weird way.

Honestly I wish it would scale anyways, if you enter one long string it will break the layout.

See, I thought that was already in place as a function, but it doesn't show any group info for me when I hover over the icon like it does with time created/remaining.

It shows only in one section - won giveaways in profile. I don't know why.

Yeah, this was something I was going to suggest to SG++ to add, but wasn't sure yet.

IMO it's a good feature but only for a reduced group of sg users. Most sg user don't use or know nothng about ratios, and more info in the main page would overload it. Maybe there is some plugin around for that.
Of course this is my opinion and surely more advanced users would appreciate that feature.

IMO It should at the very least show you the groups when you hover over the group image, the same way it tells you when a post was posted/edited when you hover over the time.

Yes!
or
Sub filter within group giveaways which sorts out giveaways according to group.
Multiple group giveaways are not sorted at all. they just sit like uncategorized threads do now.
