So, Activision is coming out of its mountain of money made of money, so they can throw this junk to more people so hopefully some of them will start to get on the lootboxing to give Activision even more money.
Plus I thought pretty much most anyone went back to Destiny 1, unless they were PC players only, stuck with this glorified MMO casino.

I almost bought Destiny 2 Deluxe Edition when it was on sale a couple of weeks ago. My only concern here is that this is the base game and the base game + the season pass does not equal the Deluxe Edition as there are some exclusives to the Deluxe Edition. There also doesn't seem to be a Deluxe Edition upgrade. Hmm...

I subscribed a year ago and I'm already setting up a trade to get rid of Destiny 2... I hope that the hidden titles won't disappoint us in a way the Early Unlock did :O

I'm glad you share my point of view! I'm just disappointed because it's not even a steam game and yeah the game suck (personal opinion). I guess they are desperate and trying to milk as much as they can before moving on a battle royal game. PUBG and Fortnite stole all theyr players on PC. Humble can't satisfy everyone and if it's your kind of game, more power to you ;)

I'm happy when HB tries new stuff like consoles bundle. If i had a ps3/ps4 i would have been all over the last bundle. Monthly should stay PC and Steam primary for me. I don't want to deal with Ubisoft/Activision/EA and god know what other platforms in the future. If D2 was in a weekly bundle i wouldn't mind at all, but in a monthly it's a real letdown.

Yup. To spell it out more clearly, "The option for the credit (or at least the Prototype 2, but I'd rather have the credit, of course) instead of a game that goes against their 'all games come with Steam keys' promise (quoted earlier in this thread) really should be available to everybody."
Perhaps they will do that if enough people ask for that option (I did). I can hope, right?

Super cool. These last 2 monthlies have been a disappointment for a first time subscriber. Thought there might be something better to come after DR4, and I was disappointed. Took a huge gamble and lost on that one. Now this new monthly has me pondering my decisions even more so. At least we can pause. There's a bit of saving grace.
I'm sure there will be plenty of people who are all in for this though; more power and fun to them!

Bought it and think it's worth it at this price. Loved Destiny 1 on my ps4 before I sold it so this works pretty well for me :)

I just think the price is right. I think Bungie with all the microtransactions area total screw so won't be supporting all that crap. For the price I will get my time and fun out of it. Destiny 1 was grindy but the shooting was fun. I appreciate the warning and would avoid this like the plague only for the price. Currently enjoying my time on For the King so all good :)

The main point is that when I subscribed they mentioned I'd get either Steam keys or DRM-free games, and that's not it. Now they've added "(Occasional exceptions apply.)", but that's not what I purchased, and I still have a few months on my annual plan.
