Early Mac 2019, one day when I login to twitch, it request me to reset password. After I follow the instruction and get the email link for password reset, it show this "Oops! We encountered an unexpected error, Please try again.

Here the screen capture:

After I try a few days and still fail, I send a ticket to twitch support. The system auto generate a ticket with ticket number for me. Then ask me to wait. Now already 9 April (1 month pass), the twitch support not even have a staff and reply to my ticket. I also had send msg to them in their twitter with my ticket number after wait for 3 week. None of these got any reply. Now I can't go to my twitch account for 1 month.
I want to ask you all, have any of you deal with twitch support before? Have to wait long for first reply?

I had also check reddit for this problem, got a few of people facing same problem which stuck at reset password part but none of them got any further answer/solution from twitch. I had also try reset it on different PC, different browser(firefox/chrome), different Phone. All get the same error at that part. I don't know anyone here able to reset their password or not but seem that this is twitch side bugs which they never fix it.

Anyone can help me on this? Any solution for this problem or any way to contact twitch support? I got ticket number but no one reply me for this 1 month wait.

I'm sorry to hear that you are locked out of your account.
Their support seems to be even worse than Valve's, which is a shame and also exceptional cuz Valve is infamous for bad and slow support. (although they tend to be better when recovering hijacked accounts.)

Are you prime subscriber? I imagine they don't really give a damn about free users.
Twitch once disabled one old account of mine and I had to make a request for recovering it, and I was really pissed. Had to wait a couple of days until it got restored. But why the hell did they disable it in the first place?

You just wait a few days? I already wait for 1 month, no reply. They really act like not even see my ticket at all.
They can simply send a temporary password also can help me but no reply no response no fix.
They act like only me facing this reset password problem.

Yes, it was an automated process, so no action was required from human support.
They don't seem to care and my suspicion is that they treat free accounts like shit, hence my question if you ever got subscribed to prime. ;)
In case they won't reply at all, I would consider making a new account.

I am not prime. Last time I may consider prime but now seem that their support so bad, I not dare to go prime.
They want to keep in this way then I will not take risk to be prime.
So far, other company support at least got reply on the issue then take some time to solve it. This one totally no reply.
If create a new account I will lose a lot of connection inside plus have to use new email.
Don't know their company do what.

Finally I found out at reset password email it got 1 button for "reset your password" then another one at bottom got a small link which also can reset.
I though both will go to same page but seem that there are different then I click on that small link rather than a big button and I finally able to reset the password after wait for 1 month with 0 support. Then when I login, it show suspension due to spam, scam, malicious content.

That is so strange. I suspect someone hack into it (that why when I login at Mac, twitch request me to reset password) and do something that why I get ban or maybe from last month until now I request many times of password reset and make the system think that I am spamming.

My account from 2014 until now already 5 years, I never stream anything at there(so no way I fall into malicious content). I use it to watch other ppl's game stream, game pre-release video and competition stream only. That 5 years I think I never chat more than total 100 chats at there (no reason say that I am spam at there). Then I never post any link so no way say that I scam at there)

Another thing I can think out is those giveaway that always want me to link my twitch to them for 1 entry. Will that consider spam? If I link so many link in short time will it consider as robot spam linking to twitch?

These are all that I can think out. Support ticket already sent. Dunno they want to read or not. I think I have to give up this login name and create a new one. (But twitch website say if you create a new one after receive ban from old one, they will also ban your new one. Do they able to track my PC? IP? or cache?) so one PC can only have 1 twitch account?

The giveaway links and your low activity get you marked as a bot most likely. Had the same issue with Twitter and the terrible connect your account portion of Bundlestars/Fanatical giveaways I think Gleam.Io is what they use and it does seem just giving them access to your account looks as if you are a part of a spam bot network. Ridiculous.

So we should not join the Gleam.io giveaway? Last time twitter also face this. I can simply click click click then it will auto follow and retweet but now I have to go in manually 1 by1 follow and retweet.

So joinning Gleam.io and link to twitch is breaking rule?

Seems that's how Twitch and Twitter take it. I just skip following on twitter and never even bothered with twitch linking after I figured that out. Less entries but whatever.
