Get lucky is really about it.
If you do your own giveaways you'll be able to join higher level giveaways and have a better chance at them, though in the end it's still about just getting lucky.

Enter and wait to get lucky. There is no magic you do to win for sure. You can enter small giveaways to make it more likely, but its still not guaranteed.

You can also share your spare keys via steamgifts (make your own giveaways). It will up your steamgifts level.
With that level, you'll be able to enter giveaways that are restricted to chosen level users. That's a good way of entering less populated giveaways !

just enter GAs, if you want and can, give away stuff to level up. the higher the level, the more unlocked GAs you will find.
also being active on the forums pays off on the long run since people notice you.
you may get into whitelists which are exclusive GAs picked by each user, or blacklists... also super exclusive but it's the opposite from whitelists xD
also remember to send at least 1,000 bottlecaps per month to support. they are expanding their fallout collection. :3

You need to enter a -lot- of giveaways. I've won 53 games, but that's from entering over 10,000 giveaways. Don't get discouraged if you don't win for a while, it'll happen eventually.

You enter every single giveaway for that game you really want, you get really emotionally invested in that, wait a lot, get depressed because you can't win it.
Then you give up, move on and start entering every wishlist giveaway you find.
Then someday this piece of shit pops up and you feel like the happiest man in the world.

You can get better chances by solving puzzles (because few people solve them and not every solver enters the giveaway)
But again, most puzzles are lvl1 or higher so you may consider giving away a game. It only takes one game to gain lvl1. For example there are only 3, 4 and 5 entries for the games behind this puzzle wink wink
