Why EA just release some of their games on steam but says no to games like Mass effect , Crisis , battlefield and ... You say ?!

I thought you meant that the new SimCity was on Steam. I am sad.

But it is honestly because EA doesn't want to pay Steam anything and they would rather sell you their games through their online service. I was surprised when EA re-released Crysis 2 for Steam. I'm not sure how they pick and choose, but I do believe that the more a game relies on multi-player the more likely it is going to be a Origin only release.

I agree and eventually the games will be on steam.

Some games. But I thought EA also seems to have a problem with Steam's drm. I recall Dragon Age.

Nah, they really don't. Their own DRM is 3x worse. They just make up bullshit arguments so people don't view them as greedy asses. They don't care about customers and just want to promote their own shitty bloatware.

EA didn't re-released Crysis2 on Steam, Crytek did. EA doesn't own Crysis.

Because the old SimCtiy game is a decade old and doesn't have a lot of DLC to sell you.

Valve takes a large %. SimCity will sell to those that actually want it.

Well, there is the fact that if the games are sold on origin, EA would have to redo the codes to implement the origin content, something that EA felt that would be diastrious. Hence why it's on steam.
