But it is honestly because EA doesn't want to pay Steam anything and they would rather sell you their games through their online service. I was surprised when EA re-released Crysis 2 for Steam. I'm not sure how they pick and choose, but I do believe that the more a game relies on multi-player the more likely it is going to be a Origin only release.

Nah, they really don't. Their own DRM is 3x worse. They just make up bullshit arguments so people don't view them as greedy asses. They don't care about customers and just want to promote their own shitty bloatware.

Well, there is the fact that if the games are sold on origin, EA would have to redo the codes to implement the origin content, something that EA felt that would be diastrious. Hence why it's on steam.
