EDIT 27/01/2023: Offer for Germany ended.

Not sure if a similar deal exists in other country(ies), but in Germany you can buy ELEX II Steelbook Edition for 9,99€. A DVD and a steam key are in the case and it's free shipping (throughout Germany I think).

https://www.mediamarkt.de/de/product/_elex-2-day1-steelbook-edition-pc-2775439.html

There is also a deal in the austria version of MediaMarkt: https://www.mediamarkt.at/de/product/_elex-ii-pc-1845662.html (8,99€)
(doesn't seem to be the Steelbook Edition though)
Thanks to Csontzuzo!

Thanks, just bought it in Germany via ARS (Argentine Peso), there is right now a huge overlook with exchange rate as they implemented a "touristic dollar".

Paid ~5,90€ for 9,99€ via Paypal and free shipping, VISA is taking the exchange and gives it to the central argentine bank.

Does it really include a steam key?
Not from Germany, but https://www.mediamarkt.at/de/product/_elex-ii-pc-1845662.html Austria has for 8,99€, without the book, and for that money I would buy a legit physical copy with steam key, and Vienna just ~60km from here, i could find other reasons too, to go to there...

How would you deliver a game with dozens of GB on DVD otherwise? Not to mention most modern setups don't have a DVD drive.

Yes, it has a steam key inside the case. Got my copy at saturday and activated the key successfully on steam.

and on steam its 50? cheapest was on epic with 25
since when MM is cheaper and also get steam key?

Not 100% sure, but maybe the physical copies of Elex II didn't sell that great, and the big stores try to sell their copies at such a price to get rid of them somehow.
And physical copies of games sold at stores like MM often have keys inside their case.

Considering gamebillet sells Steam keys for EUR 20 right now it's no big stretch of imagination to assume MediaMarkt/Saturn are selling the game itself for minimal profit/no profit.
Clearly MediaMarkt/Saturn wants you to buy the game as part of their combo deals game+headset, game+mouse, game+mouse pad etc. to make them a profit.

What exactly is "day 1" about that edition? The game didn't have any preorder bonus, did it?

^This and would be curious about the actual content of the DVD. I got mine today and activated the Steam key but have no DVD drive readily available.
