This script enhances the charts by showing you which games you already own from the ones in it. If you own it, the row will be highlighted with a green color.

What makes this day / fortnight so special?

View Results
[Tier 1] Cheap Taxi through the Streets of this Domain
[Tier 2] A bad Surgeon makes for a Red River
[Tier 3] Can't say no to Limited Quantity™ Telltale.
[Maybe] I'll keep pondering about T3 until they run out of keys.
[Rebundle] I was already Welcomed to these Crazy Strongholds before, skipping.
[Nope] I don't need even more Humble Wallet credit.

Alpha Protocol is a fantastic game, a blend of Mass Effect and Splinter Cell, with memorable characters and choices that matters!

Characters and choices are indeed great and interesting, but the gameplay (both shooting and sneaking) is some of the roughest I ever met and far from Splinter Cell.
What's good is that you can really feel you are playing the role you like thanks to the many dialogue options, and all of this balance out everything else in the game.
That's a game that would deserve an enhanced edition to "smooth the corners" of the gameplay (which is mostly mediocre), valorizing what's already top notch (writing and choices).

Agree with everything you said :)
It's a game with flaws, but the whole is better than the sum of its parts. Definitely worth a gamer's time.

I oddly never had a problem with the gameplay and enjoyed the game a lot. But I did hear that from many others.

I haven't had real problems neither, they were mostly annoying issues scattered all over the game.
There are also some points were I thought a player can really get stuck for a while if he didn't developed enough some combat skills (which most of the time aren't really that needed) or got some useful items: I'm mostly talking about bosses, in particular Deng is quite punitive.

Yarp! I ended up quitting after a few hours - and on about my third attempt to get into the game, due to the combat / stealth etc being a bit wonky.

It's a better game if you play stealthy rather than roughly. If you do stealth, it's certainly not as good as Splinter Cell, but not as bad as what reviewers said. If you want to rush the game with heavy weapons, it could be a more frustrating experience.
I encountered no issues playing on Windows 10 x64. The only bugs I had were graphic ones (like collision or camera).
And one last note: play on EASY. It doesn't ruin the experience (on the contrary) and you can focus on the qualities of the game (story and characters).

If only someone told me to play on easy before I completed it... the unpolished combat, specially against some boss, can easily make you hate the game (Omen Deng was a pain, even after leaving Taipei as the last area and with a character that passed everything else with ease).

Tbh the TTGOTG is the only title to draw me in. But that for $9 is a deal to me, I’ve been waiting for a sale in that neighborhood. It’s a shame I own everything else of interest but meh. More stuff to give away, even if half of it as been free lol

It's often on sale for 75-80% off on Wingamestore

Yeah, you can see there that they have a sale for it almost monthly, often 75% off and even 80% off a couple times. They also almost always have a coupon you can use for a few extra %.
If you have/make an account on ITAD, you can add it to your waitlist and they'll send you a mail when it gets below a certain price

It's incredibly useful, you can even link your Steam (or GOG) account and they'll sync with your wishlist and send you a mail when anything on it goes below the price cut you set

The only ones I don't have are Streets of Rage and Guardians of the Galaxy, the bundle is really nice but too many repeats. Easy skip.

Yea, no. Surgeon Sim would be nice, but the rest are repeats for me. I'll skip.

EDIT: Thanks for hooking me up with SS, CowOfDarkness!

I was just thinking that.
Humble used to be the place that debuted huge new indie games, or ridiculously cheap bundles on AAA titles.
Now they're just a Fanatical with more history.

I might have been interested in TellTale Guardians but I really don't want to encourage this trend where T3 is just a sale price and the rest is rebundled filler.

I wanted Guardians and there I have. Plus some games. Why not? Bought. I also had Surgeon Sim on my wishlist. I had one or two games already, and rest will make my library of never played games bigger.

Oh, only 1 in tier 2: maybe getting Surgeon Simulator: Anniversary Edition from bundle split

I already have six of them and I'm only interested in Operation Flashpoint: Red River so it's a definite skip for me.

I only want the TellTale game as well, not sure if that is worth the whole bundle for me, don't think so...
