There are a bunch of good games in bundles. No need for piracy if you have a credit card.

I have no issue with piracy, whatever others do, that's up to them. I personally don't pirate games anymore, but I don't look down on those who do.

I don't have any problem with piracy, because I use to practice when I was young. Now i have money to afford bundle, and I bought a lot of games I already played in the past. I hope in the future I will be able to buy it directly on Steam or an other official platform where it's not sold for 2€.
I understand that money is needed to make game, but dev also need to understand that without piracy, lots of people would have never started gaming and would not be buying their products today.

We should let kids steal cars then. While they're stealing someone else's property, they're also learning to drive, which means they may buy their own car in the future. Seems perfectly logical.... lol

Because I was being facetious.
I took a very serious issue and treated it in a flippant manner just like KiiTa did. Piracy isn't a victimless crime, people loose their jobs and families are forced into hardship over it.

Copy and thief are totally a different thing, if you can't understand my point of view on this, it will be impossible to continue this discussion.
Thief would be that the dev can't use his game anymore, and can't sell it. Piracy is copy. There is still plenty of people buying his games, and he still makes profit. But why do these people buy games ? Because they like gaming, and understanfd the industry.
Car is a necessity, you need one if you aren't living in the city. Games are not mandatory in your life. So yeah, car indrustry will live forever, while the gaming one need to interest people. I'm sorry, but for me, piracy is part of this. it make people love gaming, and take care of the industry then.
If my father did not showed me how to pirate games when I was little, I doubt I would have today a steam library with 200 titles in it today. He couldn't not afford games for me, but today i'm trying to pay back my debt, because I grow with this industry and I don't want it to end.
Video Games Industry never had been better, and I'm also doing studies to become a software dev, because it's also a growing market. I doubt i would have headed in this direction if I wasn't a little pirate geek back then.
I understand that piracy is not a good thing, but not as devilish as some people want to make it sound...

It's more often because as a student who doesn't have a job it's pretty difficult to buy $20+ even if games are cheaper in SEA. If I'm a big fan of the game however, I buy it directly from the store :) (e.g. Fallout 4, Dragon's Dogma, Witcher 3, etc.)
Also like someone mentioned before, not all countries can have disposable income to spend on games :( The little money I do earn from trading is what I use to buy games and save the rest for emergencies,

I also love games with huge open worlds filled with bazilions various collectibles and worthless things scattered around so I can just follow the fucking arrow for hours so I eventually I get my serotonine dose when I see "729/729 shitstains collected" in the damn statistics window.

I don´t have problem with piracy - well I don´t think there is anyone, who doesn´t piracy at all.
I don´t buy bundles anymore, because of my backlog.
And for me a lot of good titles cost few euros in full price, so I don´t have problem to buy it anytime, if I want to play it.
