great find. I was about to jump on it but read a lot of recent negative reviews on the game, mostly about how despite buying it, there's not much content but there is an in game shop and battle passes to spend more money on...would be interested in hearing from others who played it

Yes thay do that often.
Its on sale but out of stock. Sale ended and game is magically back.
Also TONS of games on IG is "out of stock", i sent them email about it and they told me kind of "we dont care". We MAY (sure, sure) restock later. While games are out of stock for months and months.
