What style of book do you prefer to read?
Is the conversation they have after she says her grandmother died supposed to make me feel weird?

Fiction is a broad generalization. It has several sub genre's. Star Wars and Doctor Who fall into the sub genre of science fiction.
In that matter, I like science fiction and fantasy. But I do like some non-fiction at times.
Edit- Check my reading topic to see some peoples general likes.

First of all, this will be in the Off Topic as of rn as it will just be a matter of discussion and opinion sharing.
I myself am very into what I like to call Fictional Non-Fiction, a book style in which is to serve info and trivia about a fictional time/land/person. For instance, I am not keen on standalone Doctor Who or Star Wars books in which a side story is told, but would rather read what happened as information given to me through a "fact book" or similar means. The "Jedi Training Manual" is one such book I really love, it's not a great book, but for an info nerd like myself, I love absorbing the information through diagrams, sketches and the side notes made by each character the book fell into the hands of.
One place that exceeds my love for these books is the video game inspired ones, ones which either were made for the game by the devs/publishers or ones that were made by others who then asked if the book followed canon and fact enough and the devs adopted it (dont @ me on this one, I forget what game it was).
I want to know your stance on these types of books, which style you prefer, maybe go even further into depths and say what genre.
Secondly, the category changer, I myself am working on one said Fictional Non-Fiction "books", contained within a Google Docs and actively prusuing critisism. I of course wanted to ask if anyone was interested before blatantly posting it.
TL;DR: You like books? What books you like? Wanna read my book? I need validation.
