Am I allowed to share a gift directly through steam?

The gift is in my inventory and I can choose out of two options:

  • Email my gift

  • Send my gift directly through Steam

I was reading the FAQ and it only said something about sending gift to my own e-mail and after words resending it to the person that has won the giveaway, nothing about sending it directly through steam.

If you add the person who won, you can send it directly. If you don't add them first, you can send it via e-mail.

yup if the other guy adds you on steam you can send the gift in a trade! that's how I've done all of mine =)
