Yes, I don't think Rockstar would allow themselfs to make bad port with GTA V like they did with GTA IV

Why? They don't care about PCs and PC gamers already pre-order it, so they will lose nothing from shitty port.

If they didn't care about PC's, they wouldn't have ported the majority of games they have made on to PC.

Max Payne 3 were pretty good optimized, and GTA V run smoothly on console, so my guess is that yes it will be well optimized.

It will be on same engine gta 4 was, so probably if gta 4 was working properly on your pc, gta V should also work properly.

I believe so seeing as when GTA V was first released it turned out that they ported the PC version to the PS3. . . as was released when someone broke the code and found PC scripting. I can't find the article but I remember that when it was rumored there was something in Pcgame news (before GTA V launched for the PS3 and Xbox360)

also this

Also Watchdogs was fixed like a few days after launch. I do believe there was a scripting error that made it so poorly optimised. I didn't have any issues one launch so I think it was driver related for the optimisation thing. I'll also point out that though the gameplay might be similar two different devs and publishers so it's kinda odd to say because game A was not optimized well then game b might be the same. I mean it's not like BF 4 and BFR4 that we are speaking of, something that would hold merit due to publishing practices of said publisher. You are trying to say a genre holds optimization issues.

Nobody knows unless they are a dev from rock star. Kind of a dumb question imo. Game is not even out.
