Interesting. This is the first I've seen of this particular kind of promotion. It wasn't a free weekend. It was free, added to your account, but is then revoked at some point later on. Weird.

As many people noted in the thread about the deal (which was later edited to reflect that) it WAS just a "free weekend" lasting 2 weeks. After adding it to your account you could see this info on your DLC page

I wasn't able to get it in the first place anyway. From what I could tell though, it was supposed to be a "get now keep forever" deal so I'm not sure what's happening with your copy, or anyone else's that commented.

It wasn't free to keep this time. I read somewhere that because owner whinned about it, they didn't put it free to keep this time.
