mrSimon is an artist i heard about thanks to a youtuber musician who goes by the name of Pogo, you might know him from the Alice in Wonderland remix he did several years ago. Pogo is one of my favourite artists, and when mrSimon's album Disruptor came out, he would promote it because it was a fellow youtuber and also because he thought it was awesome. Which it turned out to be :D
As for Super Parquet, it's a group i've seen live and which speaks to my celtic roots.

Lately i've discovered many good artists through 8tracks, i owuld recommand yuo trying out this website it's pretty good :) and in the past my main source of good finds have been concerts, festivals, events i wouldn't even go to! but in which an artist i liked would participate, so i'd check the others who he'd share the stage with, or artists who would do featurings with him, or even members of such group starting a solo career. Be curious :) take your favourite album of all time and check the names of all the people who worked on it, eventually you'll find something you weren't looking for. That's how it worked out for me with Gorillaz ;)
