Don't forget about CS:GO pack (same as SS it can give wallet code).
You can accumulate expecting that they will drop some game for 500 diamonds (as far as I remember, last time they didn't give that pack for RU users).
As for "which pack to buy" - I think it doesn't matter since chances to get something good (aka premium drop) are very small :).

I'm relatively new to Lootboy and very curious - can you remember what the game for 500 diamonds was last time? I had no idea there was a point in saving the diamonds instead of spending them right away as soon as I hit 100

They sometimes (pretty rarely) do certain promotions etc. that can get you additional diamonds. So theoretically it's best to hold on to your diamonds until they do one of those.

I think I'm a bit wrong with packs. Some time ago they drop Death Stranding pack for 500K coins. 500 diamonds they gave Supporter's pack. So if you live in specific regions in which they give such promotions - it's better to hold such amount of coins/diamonds.

It seems Lootboy has gotten a lot better when it comes to duplicated keys, but if you still have doubts about a key, you can use the group below for those giveaways :)
