That's what I was thinking too... but my only real beef with Origin is they may delete your games if you don't play them for a year or two (which is a deal-breaker IMO). However, if the game(s) stay in your Amazon list forever, wouldn't that concern go away?

Its not spyware, and you need to get that in your heads. It scans your computer for illegally obtained keys and games and scans system specs.

It can be activated on Origin, not required. You can easily add it to Steam as a non-steam game.
Also, just because this is the SteamGifts forum doesn't mean we can't share good deals with each other, regardless of whether or not it's Steam redeemable.
